This article is a guide to learning how to update assignees and compliance settings on multiple schedules at once.
Mass updating assignees or compliance settings can allow you to easily manage the automation of your checklists if there are changes to the structure of which users or user groups should be completing certain checklists or the need to introduce or remove compliance settings to a multitude of schedules.
Before you can update assignees and compliance settings a few things need to be in place. You will need of the following elements:
- A checklist
- At least two schedules (calendar or continuous)
- An assignee (=a user or user group)
Bulk changing assignees
This will allow you to add, remove or replace assignees on a multitude of schedules.
- Go to the Schedules tab and click .
- Select the checklists that you wish to update.
Tip: You can select up to 100 schedules at one time. Click to move between pages to select more.
- Click .
- Click on Bulk Change Assignees/Reviewers. This will bring up a box giving you three options for change.
- Add: if you simply want to add a user or user group to an already existing list of assignees, you can use this option
- Remove: if you want to remove a selected user or user group from being an assignee, you’ll use this option
- Replace: this option will allow you to completely replace the current list of assignees with your new user or user group. If left blank, this option will also clear out the assignees on any selected checklist
- Click .
Bulk changing compliance settings
This will allow you to enable or disable different compliance settings on a multitude of schedules.
- Go to the Schedules tab and click .
- Select the checklists that you wish to update.
Tip: You can select up to 100 schedules at one time. Click to move between pages to select more.
- Click .
- Click on Bulk change Compliance Settings. This will bring up a box giving you three options for change.
- Do not change
- Enable: will turn on this compliance setting on all selected schedules
- Disable: will turn off this compliance setting on all selected schedules
- Click .
