The Notes widget provides a centralized place to view, manage, and filter notes created for specific locations or assets. This widget is useful for monitoring issues, documenting observations, and ensuring efficient follow-up.


Content, Filters, and Options

  • Displayed Information:

    • Description: Detailed text of the note.

    • Location: Where the note applies (e.g., specific ride or area).

    • Type: Categorization of the note (e.g., Problem, Note).

    • Created By: The user who submitted the note.

    • Created Date: Timestamp of when the note was created.

  • Filters:

    • Date Range: Filter notes by specific timeframes.

    • Location: View notes for selected locations or groups.

    • Type: Focus on specific note types like "Problem" or "Observation" as defined by the organization.

    • Tags: Use tags for custom filtering options.

    • Unhandled: Easily see notes that still require action on a pending assignment.


How to Use and Tips

  1. Adding the Widget:

    • Add the Notes widget to your Dashboard.

  2. Customizing Filters:

    • Use filters to narrow down notes by location, type, or creator.

    • Adjust the timeframe to focus on recent or historical notes.

  3. Managing Notes:

    • Review notes marked as "Problem" to prioritize issues.

    • Regularly update or resolve notes to maintain operational clarity.
