Overview

Mobaro provides a pre-installed connector in Microsoft Power Automate (online version) that allows you to access and automate data from your Mobaro environment. You can use the connector to retrieve checklist results, update user records, move assets, and much more.

No additional installation is required—simply search for Mobaro when adding an action to your flow.

Available actions

The Mobaro connector supports a wide range of actions, including but not limited to:

  • Get data: results, checklists, assets, locations, users, timesheets, assignments

  • Update records: users, roles, schedule slots, notes, assignments, assets

  • Create entries: checklists, assignments, downtimes, timesheets, location groups

  • Delete data: assignments, certifications, results, users, assets, etc.

How to start a basic flow

Log into Power Automate

Visit make.powerautomate.com and sign in with your Microsoft account.

Create a new flow

Click Create > Automated cloud flow or Instant cloud flow depending on your use case.

Add Mobaro as an action

  • Click + New step

  • In the "Choose an operation" panel, type Mobaro

  • Select one of the available Mobaro actions (e.g., "List all results" or "Update a user")

Authenticate

Use your Mobaro API key when prompted. If your organization has restrictions, contact your administrator for access.

Test and refine your flow

Use filters and conditions to create workflows that push Mobaro data to:

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft Teams

  • SharePoint

  • Email

  • Third-party tools via webhooks

Best practices

  • Use filters when retrieving large data sets (e.g., AnsweredBefore/After)

  • Chain Mobaro actions with logic steps (conditions, delays, loops)

  • Use Mobaro as both a data source and an updater in multi-step flows

  • Securely store your API key using environment variables or credential vaults
