Overview

Location properties allow you to dynamically tailor checklists by applying logic that ensures only relevant questions or elements are displayed based on the location's assigned properties. This helps streamline checklist processes and ensure operational accuracy across different types of locations.

Adding Location Properties to Checklist Logic

Follow these steps to use location properties as logic in a checklist:

Note: Read about Creating and Assigning Location Properties before adding in Location Property-based logic.

Open the Checklist Editor

  1. Navigate to the Mobaro Backend and select Checklists.

  2. Open the checklist you want to modify or create a new one.

Add a Logic Rule

  1. Click on the page, element, or question you wish to have logic applied to.

  2. Click on the Logic section of the checklist editor.

  3. Select Add Logic.

Configure Logic Based on Properties

In the logic configuration screen:

  • From the dropdown menu, choose Based on a property.

  • Define the condition (e.g., contains all, contains any, does not contain all, or does not contain any).

  • Select the Property you want to use for logic, such as "Indoor Fire Extinguisher" or "Ride Type."

Assign Conditions

Choose the property values applicable to the logic. For example:

  • Indoor Fire Extinguisher: If a location is assigned this property, the checklist question or element will display.

  • Ride Type: Select "Coaster" or "Tower" to show specific questions for those ride types.

Save the Logic Rule

  1. Click Save to finalize the logic rule.

  2. Repeat these steps to add more property-based logic to other questions or elements if necessary.

Note: Ensure all properties used in logic are applied to the relevant locations in Location Properties under Configuration.

Example Scenario

  • You manage a checklist used across multiple ride types: coasters and towers.

  • Use a Ride Type property to ensure that coaster-specific inspection questions are only visible for coaster locations, and tower-specific questions appear only for tower locations.

Frequently Asked Questions
