Adding triggers
Adding triggers can enhance the automation and workflows within your checklists by automatically creating assignments, scheduling additional checklists for completion, or requiring additional information from the completing user.
Tip: Triggers can be added to the following question types: Select Questions, Smiley Questions, Date Questions and Temperature Questions.
Triggers can be added within the Question's edit menu by scrolling and expanding the Triggers section and clicking Add Trigger.
This lets you select between the following:
Assignment Trigger — automatic assignment creation
Ad Hoc Slot Trigger — additional checklist scheduling
Requirement Trigger — additional information collection
Each Trigger setting will allow you to define the qualifying condition(s) that need to be met for each Trigger to be populated.
Important Note: Assignment and Ad Hoc Slot triggers require a checklist to be completed, submitted, and received on the Mobaro backend prior to these triggers being fulfilled.
Adding logic
Logic can be added to hide or populate different questions or elements based on different qualifying conditions:
Based on an answer to a question
Based on a day of the week
Based on a location property
Based on the checklist's state
Based on a user's membership to different user groups
Based on the visibility of another checklist element
Logic elements can be stacked to where all or one condition must be met in order for an element to be shown or hidden.
Logic can be applied to entire pages or specific elements/questions.
Adding reference materials
Manuals, external links, and videos can be added as reference materials to questions.
Important Note: Reference materials must be added to the Library prior to being available within the checklist editor. Also, while Library content is permission-locked based on Location or User Group access, reference materials added into checklists will be available to all users who are assignees of a checklist.
When adding manuals, if you utilize the Sections creation within the Library, you can directly link specific sections of a manual to individual questions in addition to the entire manual.
Manuals added to a checklist will be downloaded to the assignee's device if they decide to download the checklist or if the checklist is required to be downloaded prior to completion. External links and videos will only open if a user is connected to the internet.
