Overview

In Mobaro, you may need to change the user who completed a result in certain situations. This action will overwrite the original user and any elements associated with their participation in the result. Whether you need to correct a mistake or reassign responsibility for a result, this feature allows you to update the user information quickly and easily.

Changing the User for a Result

To change the user who completed a result, follow these steps:

Navigate to the Results Page

Go to the "Results" section from the Mobaro menu.

Select the Result to Update

Click the checkbox next to the result for which you want to change the user.

Click the "Change Result User" Icon

Once the result is selected, click the "Change result user" button in the top toolbar.

Select the New User

In the popup that appears, search for and select the new user you want to assign to the result. Once you’ve chosen the user, click Change Result User to apply the changes.

What Happens After Changing the User

After the change is applied, the new user will be listed as the one who completed the result. Any associated data, such as the user’s score or any elements they participated in, will also reflect the new user.

Tip: Make sure the new user is the appropriate one for the result before applying the change, as this action will overwrite the previous user's information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I change the user back to the original one?
A: Yes, you can change the user back to the original one or to another user if needed by completing the Change Result User process again for the original user.

Q: What happens if the new user was already assigned a different result?
A: Changing the user will overwrite their participation in the previous result. The new user will now be linked to the result you modified, and their participation data will be updated accordingly.
