Overview
Sometimes the wrong person is recorded as having completed a Result — a shared device, a mistaken login, or a reassignment after the fact. Change Result User overwrites the recorded user on a Result, updating the score and any elements tied to their participation to the new user.
Users must be Super Users or have a Role with permission to modify Results.
Why this matters: The recorded user flows into reporting, dashboards, and competency tracking. Correcting it keeps accountability accurate — who actually did the work — rather than leaving a misattributed Result in your records.
Changing the user for a result
1. Open the Results page
Go to Results from the Mobaro menu.
2. Select the result
Tick the checkbox next to the Result you want to change, then click Change result user in the top toolbar.
3. Choose the new user
In the popup, search for and select the new User, then click Change Result User to apply.
Heads-up: This overwrites the previously recorded user and their associated data on the Result. Confirm you've picked the right User before applying.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Is the original user's information permanently deleted?
A: No — but it's no longer associated with this Result. The new user's data replaces it in reporting, dashboards, and related elements.
Q: Can I change it back?
A: Yes. Run Change Result User again and select the original (or another) User.
Q: Does this affect the new user's other results?
A: Only the Result you modified is linked to them; their other Results are unchanged. Their participation data updates to include this Result.
