Overview

In Mobaro, users and locations form the backbone of your setup. Users represent the people who log in and complete work, while locations represent the places where that work happens. Together, they provide the structure for assigning tasks, tracking results, and maintaining accountability across your operations.

Users

A user is anyone who needs access to Mobaro — from frontline staff to managers and administrators.

Key elements of users

  • Profiles: Each user has a profile with details like name, email, and role.

  • Roles: Define what permissions a user has in the system.

  • User groups: Grouping users makes it easier to assign tasks, checklists, or notifications to multiple people at once.

  • Super users: The highest permission level, with full control and visibility across the system.

Tip: Organize users with meaningful groups (e.g. “Ride Operations Team” or “Food & Beverage”) to simplify task distribution.

Locations

A location is any physical place where work is carried out. This could be a ride, a food stand, a shop, or even a full site like a park.

Key elements of locations

  • Location groups: Organize locations into logical clusters (e.g. “Roller Coasters” or “Water Park”).

  • Hierarchy: Locations can be grouped under broader areas to reflect your actual operation.

  • Assignment targets: Locations act as the targets for checklists, assignments, and schedules.

Note: Well-structured locations make reporting and dashboards much easier to understand.

How users and locations work together

  • Assignments: Tasks can be given to a user group and linked to a specific location.

  • Checklists: Users complete checklists tied to locations, ensuring consistency.

  • Schedules: Define when work must be performed at certain locations by certain users.

  • Reports: Combine data from both users and locations to create accountability and actionable insights.

This interplay ensures that the right people are doing the right work in the right place, at the right time.
