Overview

Invalidating results in Mobaro is how you permanently remove results from the system. This action cannot be undone, so it’s essential to treat invalidating a result as a final deletion. Invalidated results are removed from galleries, dashboards, and reporting, ensuring they no longer impact your data. If the result is tied to an active or expired schedule, you can choose to reschedule it and make it resumable.

Invalidating a Result

To invalidate a result in Mobaro, simply follow these steps:

Navigate to the Results Page

Access the "Results" section from the main Mobaro menu.

Select the Result to Invalidate

Click the checkbox next to the result you wish to invalidate.

Click the "Invalidate" Icon

Once the result is selected, click the "Invalidate" icon in the toolbar.

Invalidating Results with Active Schedules

If the result is tied to an active schedule, you’ll be given additional options before finalizing the invalidation:

Make Results Resumable

Choose whether to allow assignees to resume the checklist. This option makes invalidated results available for completion again, enabling a more streamlined workflow.

Tip: Allowing assignees to resume the checklist saves time, ensuring that they can pick up where they left off instead of starting over.

Add a Comment

You can add a comment when invalidating the result to provide context and explain why the action is being taken.

Invalidating Results with Expired Schedules

If the result is tied to an expired schedule, you’ll see a warning message explaining that the result will appear as missing unless rescheduled.

Warning: Invalidating results with expired schedules will remove them from Mobaro, marking them as missing unless you reschedule them. Rescheduling ensures the results remain available for completion.

Reschedule the Expired Results

If you want assignees to complete the checklist, reschedule the expired results so they can be made available again.

Make Results Resumable

Just like with active schedules, you can choose to make expired results resumable for assignees.

Note: Rescheduling expired results is critical for ensuring that the task can be completed properly, instead of leaving it incomplete.

Notifications and Reminders

Once a result is invalidated, you can configure notifications to ensure assignees are informed and reminded of the new tasks:

Choose Who Will Be Notified

Select whether to notify assignees, reviewers, or any other relevant users.

Set Reminders

You can also set up reminders to ensure assignees are aware of the updates and are prompted to complete any rescheduled tasks.

Tip: Setting reminders helps ensure that your team stays on top of newly rescheduled or invalidated tasks.
