Overview

There may be times when you need to reset your RideOps tablet, such as when switching to a different Location or RideOps key. This guide will show you how to reset your RideOps tablet to its initial setup state.

Resetting a RideOps tablet

To factory reset your RideOps tablet, follow these steps:

  1. Click the RideOps icon in the upper right corner

  2. Click on Factory Reset

  3. Confirm the reset by clicking OK

Warning: You will need to enter a new RideOps key after the reset. Only perform this step once you have your new key ready to enter to ensure a seamless transition.

After the reset, you can enter a new RideOps key and configure the tablet for your desired Location.

Important Notes

  • Logged-in Operator Required: An Operator must be actively logged in to reset the RideOps key using the method above.

  • Alternative Method: If logging in with an Operator is not possible, you must clear the browser's cache and cookies for RideOps to reset the application.

Additional Details

  • Switching Locations: Resetting the tablet allows for seamless transition between different Locations or setups, however, if this is intended with long term use, it may be best to utilize a RideOps key that allows Operators to switch Locations natively in the app.

  • Security and Maintenance: Regular resets can help maintain the integrity and performance of the RideOps application.

By following these steps, you can ensure your RideOps tablet is correctly configured for your specific operational needs.
