How to manage RideOps keys

This article shows you how to create, edit, and delete RideOps keys.

Overview

The RideOps system requires a RideOps key to be inputted prior to using the system. RideOps keys are managed on the Mobaro Backend, where they can be created, edited, and deleted.

Users must be Super Users or have the following roles to manage RideOps keys:

  • Organization: Administrate


Creating a RideOps key

To create a RideOps key, follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to Configuration

  2. Click the RideOps tab

  3. Click Create

  4. Name the key

  5. Add all the Locations you want on this key

  6. If you want Operators to be able to switch between different Locations, enable Allow Operators to switch between locations added onto this RideOps key.

  7. Click Create

Note: Locations that are not set up correctly for RideOps can be added to a RideOps key; however, a warning message will inform you which locations still need to be properly configured. You will not be able to use these locations until they are properly set up in RideOps.


Editing a RideOps key

To edit an existing RideOps key, follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to Configuration

  2. Click the RideOps tab

  3. Select the RideOps key you wish to edit

  4. Click the Update button

  5. Make applicable changes

  6. Click Update


Deleting a RideOps key

To delete a RideOps key, follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to Configuration

  2. Click the RideOps tab

  3. Select the RideOps key you wish to delete

  4. Click Delete

Warning: This action is irreversible, and all active instances of RideOps using this key will be suspended.


Troubleshooting & FAQ

  1. The RideOps key won't save.

    1. Ensure you have at least one active Location listed in the key.
