Create, show, edit and delete RideOps Keys, the codes that connect RideOps tablets to your Locations. Only Super Users can create, edit or delete keys.

Creating and managing RideOps key

Set a ride's Preopening and Closing Checklists in RideOps Settings, choose the validity period, and require supervisor approval before opening.

Configuring Checklists for RideOps

Create and schedule handover notes that RideOps Operators must acknowledge before opening a ride, and audit every acknowledgement.

Handover notes — require operators to acknowledge critical information

What each RideOps queue and dispatch setting does, how RideOps calculates expected throughput from them, and what Operators see on the tablet.

Managing queues and dispatches in RideOps

Show a titled message to Operators on a ride's RideOps tablets with the Bulletin widget: where to write it, how to make it show, and its limits.

RideOps Bulletin widget

What each setting in the RideOps tablet's settings panel does, where settings are stored, and how to lock them for every tablet from the Backend.

RideOps tablet settings

Install RideOps from rideops.mobaro.com on a tablet, connect it with a RideOps Key, and learn how updates, resets and weak connections work.

Setting up the RideOps app as a PWA on tablets

Prepare a replacement RideOps tablet

Create, change, remove and unlock the 4-digit PIN Operators use to sign in to RideOps, and what each PIN message on the tablet means.

Managing RideOps PIN codes

Create and configure Note Types — the categories for Notes that also control approval, triggered Assignments and email notifications.

Setting up Note Types

Set up Note Templates that pre-fill a Note's Title, Description and Type in RideOps, and limit them to specific Locations.

Setting up Note Templates

Configuring RideOps

Sign in, sign out, and switch Attendants on RideOps Positions — what qualifies an Attendant, and why to use Switch rather than Sign out on mandatory positions.

Signing in as an attendant

For RideOps operators: what a handover note is, why the ride won't dispatch until you acknowledge it, and how to view and acknowledge one at sign-in.

An Operator's guide to a day in RideOps: signing in, opening the ride, dispatches and queue times, Downtime, handover notes and closing.

Operating a ride in RideOps

Create Notes in RideOps or the Backend, and see who can view, edit, approve and delete them, and how Note Types drive approval and Assignments.

Creating and managing Notes

What Ride Utilization, Cart Utilization, dispatches, riders, cycle time and uptime mean on the RideOps tablet, and how to turn them on.

Ride statistics on the RideOps tablet

Check Location membership, filters, template targeting and saved content when Notes or their templates do not appear as expected.

Troubleshoot missing Notes and Note Templates

Prepare eligible replacement staff, switch Operators and Attendants, and keep handover information and Position records current.

Plan staff handovers in RideOps

Close and reopen a ride for a planned break, check staffing and counts, and distinguish the break from a Downtime.

Handle short planned closures in RideOps

Factory-reset a RideOps tablet to set it up with a new key, what a reset erases, and what to do when the Factory Reset button is missing.

Resetting the RideOps app

What the RideOps Activities page shows: today's activity and the week ahead for the Location, what each entry means, and when to use the Backend log.

Log book in RideOps

How the Operator signs Attendants in to RideOps Positions, switches or signs them out, and when RideOps signs Attendants out automatically.

Signing in as an Attendant

For RideOps Operators: why a handover note holds the ride at Not ready for operation, and how to read and acknowledge it at sign-in or mid-shift.

Enable barcode sign-in in RideOps settings, match badges to Operators' External IDs, and scan a badge before entering a PIN.

Enable barcode sign-in for RideOps operators

Coordinate the maintenance Assignment, Downtime record and Operator readiness checks before reopening a ride in RideOps.

This prototype demo is aware that you are reading “{title}”. It can point you back to the current article, but a production article-aware Fin contract is still follow-up work.

Prototype article-aware answer

Because you already asked about invitations, this prototype demo can add the follow-up: use the role selector before sending each invite to limit access to the teammate responsibilities.

Prototype role-limiting follow-up

This prototype demo suggests starting with your workspace profile, inviting the team members who need access, and then connecting the integrations you use.

Prototype getting-started answer

In this prototype demo, integrations are configured from workspace settings. Choose the integration, connect the account, and review the enabled permissions.

Prototype integrations answer

In this prototype demo, invite teammates from workspace settings, then choose the access each teammate needs before sending the invitation.

Prototype invite-team answer

This prototype demo does not have a scripted answer for that question yet. Try asking how to invite your team or open a source article. No production Fin API was called.
