Average Score Widget

Displays average scores across selected assignments or categories.

Written by Logan Bowlby

Overview

The Average Score widget shows a single consolidated compliance score across the Checklists you select, presented as a percentage with a red-to-green color bar.

Why this matters: A single score is the fastest read on whether a process is healthy, so you only drill in when it dips.

Configuration and filters

Add the widget to a Dashboard and refine it with the following options:

  • Date Range to focus on a specific period, such as the last 7 days, last month, or a custom range.

  • Checklist filters to select one or more Checklists to include in the score.

  • Grouping to aggregate the data by user, Location, or Question Category.

Best practice: Use the color-coded bar to spot dips at a glance, then apply filters to focus on the data behind any drop in performance.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What does the color bar mean?
A: It runs from red (low) to green (high) so you can read performance at a glance.

Q: Can I break the score down further?
A: Yes. Use the by-Location, by-Question-Category, or per-Page variants for more detail.

Q: What is a typical use case?
A: A manager can assess overall maintenance performance across rides over the past month, where a high score indicates consistent compliance with safety standards (for example, 95%).
