Overview

A Mobaro super user is the highest-level account role in the Mobaro platform. Super users are responsible for managing key aspects of the system, maintaining security, and ensuring that all other users have the correct access and setup. Unlike standard users, super users can access and control every organization within their Mobaro account.

Super users play a vital role in ensuring Mobaro is configured and maintained correctly, making them the go-to contacts for system administration, training, and troubleshooting.

What makes a super user different?

Super users have privileges that go beyond those of admins and regular users:

  • Full platform visibility
Super users can view and access all organizations in the account.

  • Permission management
They can create, edit, and remove user accounts and roles.

  • Configuration control
Super users can set up and modify global configuration such as schedules, checklists, roles, and location structures.

  • Security oversight
They are responsible for maintaining proper access levels and ensuring sensitive data is protected.

  • Onboarding responsibility
Super users are often tasked with training new users, setting up best practices, and ensuring consistency across the account.

Note: A super user must be a member of any organization where they edit user details.

Best practices for super users

To be effective in the role, Mobaro recommends super users:

  • Keep account structures clean and consistent across all organizations.

  • Use descriptive naming conventions for roles, locations, and schedules.

  • Regularly review permissions to ensure users only have access to what they need.

  • Stay up-to-date with Mobaro feature releases and communicate changes to their teams.

  • Act as the first point of contact internally for support questions before escalating to Mobaro.
