Overview
Schedule Metrics helps you check whether the right people can carry out and review work at every target Location. Use it when setting up a Schedule, adding a Location, changing a team, or investigating a Checklist that someone cannot see.
Start with Results Expected to check the amount of work, then open Schedule Metrics to check the people. These checks are available in Calendar Schedules, Continuous Schedules and Ad Hoc Slots.

Availability | Results Expected: all organizations. For the list shortcut, ask your CSM about Schedule Metrics quick view access. |
💡 Why this matters: A Schedule can contain the right Checklists and Locations but still have no eligible assignees at one Location. Schedule Metrics helps you find that gap before the work is due.
What Results Expected shows
Expand Results Expected to see Checklists per Target × Targets = Total Results. For Calendar Schedules and Ad Hoc Slots, read this as the expected Results for one slot. It is not a completed-work count or a forecast for a selected date range.
Targets counts the selected Assets or Locations. Location Groups are expanded and Exclusions (Locations/Location Groups) are removed. The Location count includes targets outside your own Location access.
Example: morning ride checks. Two Checklists across four Locations gives eight expected Results. Assigning six people still gives eight Results. If you expected six, check whether an extra Location is included or an exclusion is missing.
The panel follows changes in the settings before you save. More assignees do not multiply the expected Results.
What Schedule Metrics checks
Schedule Metrics lists each target Location and, for Asset targets, the Asset. Assignees and Reviewers count people with the relevant assignment and Location membership, including membership through User Groups and Location Groups. A warning appears when a count is zero.
Open a target row to inspect the people listed. Hover over each person’s indicators to read the active or inactive tooltip:
Active indicator | What Schedule Metrics checks |
User can complete checklists | The person is an assignee and a member of this Location. |
User can review results | The listed person is a reviewer or a Super User. |
User can validate results | The listed person is a Super User, or a reviewer with Results › Validate. |
User can reschedule missing results | The listed person is a Super User, or a reviewer with Schedules › Create. |
⚠️ Heads-up: Schedule Metrics does not check whether a time slot is open, Required Competencies, or Results › Validate Missing, which is also needed for approving or rescheduling Missing Results. An active indicator is not a complete check of every requirement. People outside the selected assignees and reviewers are not listed, even Super Users.
Run the check
1. Add Checklists, targets and people
Open the Schedule’s settings, or Configure Ad Hoc Slot. Fill in What?, Where? and Who?, then expand Results Expected at the bottom. Compare the total with the Checklists and targets you intended.
For an existing Schedule, editing is available to Super Users, its creator or Owners, or a Role with Schedules › Modify. Creating a Schedule requires Super User access or Schedules › Create. Ad Hoc Slots use the creator, Super User and Role permissions; Schedule ownership does not grant access to edit an Ad Hoc Slot.
2. Open Schedule Metrics
Click Show Details. Alternatively, if Schedule Metrics quick view access is enabled, go to Schedules, select exactly one Schedule and click View schedule metrics. This shortcut needs view access and checks the saved Schedule.
Example: find a Location gap. The maintenance crew is assigned to the Schedule, but Wind Rider shows zero assignees. Check whether the crew or its members have membership of Wind Rider. Assigning a User Group to a Schedule does not itself grant Location access.
3. Review each target
Look for a warning or zero under Assignees or Reviewers. Click a row with people listed to open Go to details, then hover over their indicators. Confirm that the intended people can complete the work and that the appropriate reviewers can validate it.
Example: check a reviewer’s permissions. In Cedar Coaster’s details, six people can complete Checklists. Sam Reed can review and validate Results, but the completion and rescheduling indicators are inactive. Hover over each indicator to check what the person can do.
4. Fix the gaps
Close Schedule Metrics and correct the relevant settings. Use the checks below, or ask an authorized administrator to make the change. Save any Schedule changes, then reopen Schedule Metrics to confirm the result. Schedule Metrics itself does not change assignments, access or Results.
What you see | What to check |
Unexpected Total Results | Checklists, selected Assets or Locations, Location Group membership and exclusions. |
Zero Assignees | The intended people or User Group are assigned and have membership of the target Location. |
Zero Reviewers | The intended reviewers are assigned and have Location membership. Check who should review Results for this workflow. |
Reviewer cannot validate | The reviewer’s Role includes Results › Validate. Being a reviewer alone is not enough. |
A person is missing | Both their assignee/reviewer selection and their Location membership, including relevant User Groups. |
Use How access works in Mobaro to distinguish Roles, User Groups and Location access. Give people the access required for their work; do not make someone a Super User simply to remove a warning.
Example: confirm the correction. After the maintenance crew is given the intended Location membership, reopen Schedule Metrics. Wind Rider now shows six assignees and one reviewer. This confirms the assignment and membership gap is resolved; it does not mean the Checklists have been completed.
Best practices
Run Schedule Metrics before a new Schedule is used, when adding a Location, and after changing team or Location Group membership.
Check the individual indicators as well as the counts. A reviewer count does not tell you how many reviewers can validate.
Use User Groups for team assignments and Location membership where appropriate. Check that changes cover every intended target. Recheck Ad Hoc Slots separately. They have their own assignees and reviewers.
Frequently asked questions
A user still cannot see the Checklist, although their completion indicator is active. Why?
Schedule Metrics confirms assignment and Location membership. Also check that a slot is open and the User meets any Required Competencies, then refresh the app. See How to schedule a Checklist.
Why does nothing happen when I click a Location row?
Schedule Metrics opens a detail view only when the row contains people. If no assignees or reviewers with Location membership are listed, correct the assignments or membership and reopen Schedule Metrics.
Why can a user validate scheduled Results but not Ad Hoc Results?
Ad Hoc Slots have separate reviewers. Open the affected slot’s Schedule Metrics and check its reviewers and validation indicators. See Ad Hoc Slots — setup and behavior.
Why is View schedule metrics missing from the list?
Select exactly one Schedule that you can view. The shortcut also requires Schedule Metrics quick view access for your organization. Ask your CSM about that setting; users who can edit can use Results Expected › Show Details in the settings.
