Overview
This article explains how to carry an incomplete Checklist across multiple devices and share it with your team to make it a collaborative effort. By utilizing cloud storage, Users can ensure seamless transitions and continued progress on Checklists regardless of the device.
Saving a Checklist in the cloud
When exiting an incomplete Checklist, you have three options:
Save Locally: The Checklist is only available on your device and to your user.
Save in the Cloud: The Checklist is stored with Mobaro, allowing you to resume from any device.
Delete all progress: Any data in the Checklist from all Performing Users will be deleted and cannot be restored.
Critical: Choosing Delete all progress permanently removes all responses, attachments, and notes from the in-progress Checklist. This action cannot be undone.
Making Checklists collaborative
Cloud storage and the Allow others to resume option work together to enable collaborative Checklist completion across devices and users.
Cloud storage: Saving a Checklist in the cloud enables you to resume it from any device you're logged in to.
Allow others to resume: When enabled, any user who could originally start the Checklist can resume it from where you left off.
Best practice: When saving Checklist progress (locally or in the cloud), name the resumable result so collaborators can easily distinguish between multiple in-progress items.
Important behaviors to know
Online access required: Checklists saved in the cloud require an internet connection to resume.
Sharing must be enabled: Users must enable
Allow others to resumefor collaboration to work — otherwise only the original user can resume.Immediate registration: Assignments and media files from cloud-stored Checklists are registered immediately, even before the Checklist is completed.

Note: In most cases, you'll have a single item to resume from, but there can be several in the list when collaboration is active.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What's the difference between saving locally and saving in the cloud?
A: Local saves stay on the device and are tied to one user. Cloud saves are stored with Mobaro and can be resumed from any device by any user with the Allow others to resume option enabled.
Q: Can two users edit the same Checklist at the same time?
A: No. Mobaro does not support simultaneous editing. Once a user resumes a cloud-saved Checklist, no one else can resume it until that user re-saves or completes it.
Q: What happens if a cloud-saved Checklist passes its deadline?
A: The Checklist becomes a Missed Result and cannot be resumed. Make sure cloud-saved Checklists are completed within their schedule's deadline.
Q: Are Assignments and photos saved when I save in the cloud?
A: Yes. Any Assignments created and media files captured are registered immediately with Mobaro, even before the Checklist is fully completed.
