Overview
The Backend and the mobile app use different rules for which Assignments you see. The Backend is for oversight, so what you see depends on your access level. The app is for doing the work, so it lists only unfinished Assignments that involve you.

💡 Why this matters: Staff sometimes think an Assignment has disappeared when it just isn't on their phone. Knowing the rules avoids duplicate Assignments and unnecessary support requests.

An Assignment "involves" someone when they're an assignee (directly or through a User Group), created it, or subscribed to it — or, in the app, when it was raised from a Checklist they can complete. Location membership can be direct, through a User Group or through a Location Group. See How access works in Mobaro.
How the mobile app decides
Unfinished only. Once an Assignment is Finished, it leaves the app's list.
Location membership. The app only lists Assignments at Locations you're a member of — this applies to Super Users too.
Involves you. You're assigned, created it or subscribed to it, or it was raised from a Checklist you can complete.
Downloaded to the device. The list comes from data stored on the phone. New and changed Assignments appear after the app refreshes with a connection.
App version. Older app versions leave out some Assignments, such as those with several assignees or an Assignment Definition. Keep the app up to date.
List filters. The Assignments list's own filters and grouping can hide Assignments.
⚠️ Heads-up: No Role makes the mobile app list every Assignment. Managers who need to see all work at their Locations should use the Backend with Assignments › View, or subscribe to the Assignments they want to follow.
See finished assignments
Finished Assignments aren't in the app's Assignments list. With a connection, tap the Location Overview tile, open a Location and switch to Completed to see its finished Assignments.

Best practices
Add supervisors as Subscribers on Assignment triggers so the Assignments they follow appear in their app.
Before logging an issue you can't find in the app, check the Backend — it may already be there.
Keep Location membership up to date when people move between areas or parks.
Frequently asked questions
How can a manager see all assignments in the app, even ones not assigned to them?
They can't — no Role changes the app list. Give them Assignments › View to see every Assignment at their Locations in the Backend, or have them click Subscribe on the Assignments they follow (or add them as Subscribers on triggers) so those appear in their app.
I can't see any assignments in the app. Why?
Check that you're a member of the Assignment's Location, that it involves you (assigned, created or subscribed), that it isn't Finished, and that the list's filters are clear. Then refresh the app with a connection and update it to the latest version.
Can we see completed assignments in the app?
Not in the Assignments list. With a connection, tap Location Overview, open the Location and switch to Completed. The Backend shows every finished Assignment with the Finished status filter.
Why do I see assignments in the app that aren't assigned to me?
The app also lists unfinished Assignments you created or subscribed to, and ones raised from Checklists you can complete, at Locations you're a member of. If you see another site's work, check your Location membership.
