Overview
When a question or page fails to appear, trace the logic from its conditions to the work being completed. A correct condition on a question can still sit inside a page whose own condition is false.
Use one test case with a known User, Location, date and set of answers. Change one condition at a time so you can identify which rule controls the outcome.

💡 Why this matters: A clear test case helps you repair the intended condition without removing useful logic from the rest of the Checklist.
Check the whole visibility path
1. Confirm the saved version
Open the intended Checklist and confirm that the saved logic is on the correct page or element. If the app is showing older content, first follow the Checklist update and synchronization guidance in editing Checklists.
2. Inspect the containing page
Review both page-level and element-level logic. If the page is hidden, a condition on a question inside it cannot make that question available by itself. Also check whether the source question or element is visible on the path being tested.
3. Compare the condition combination
Choose All for AND, when every condition must be true, or One for OR, when any condition may be true. Pay attention to grouped conditions rather than reading each line in isolation.
ℹ️ Note: “Tuesday AND Thursday” cannot be true for one current day. For content that should appear on either day, combine those weekday conditions with OR by selecting One.

A Location Property condition uses the Checklist’s Location. A text answer that happens to contain a ride name does not change that Location. For Location-specific questions, follow logic based on a Location Property.

Test both outcomes
Run a case where the content should appear, then a case where it should stay hidden. For weekday logic, record the device date and test a fresh Checklist session rather than assuming an already-open session will reevaluate at midnight.
For a question dependency, complete the required preceding answer and confirm the source is visible. Avoid circular logic where two elements depend on each other being visible. See adding Checklist logic for the condition types and grouping controls.
Do not submit test answers into operational work. Use a suitable test Checklist or Schedule, and preserve any existing progress while investigating.
Escalate the smallest example
Send Support the Checklist, affected page/question, condition settings and the exact test inputs. Include the expected outcome, actual outcome, device date, language and whether the session was new or resumed.
Best practices
Use OR for alternative days and AND for requirements that must hold together.
Keep a positive and negative test case for each important rule.
Use a Location Property instead of a typed Location name when the rule is Location-based.
Frequently asked questions
I selected Tuesday and Thursday. Why does the question never appear?
Check how the conditions are combined. A day cannot be both Tuesday and Thursday; use OR if either day should show the question. Also check the containing page’s logic.
Can I hide a field based on the previous Text Question’s answer?
The Mobile app currently has a text-comparison issue. Use a Select Question with fixed options for a reliable answer-based path, and check source visibility. See answer-based logic for the limitation and surface differences.
Can certain questions appear only for the ride selected when starting the Checklist?
Yes, use the selected Location’s Properties in the logic. Assign the relevant Property to that Location and configure the condition. See Location Property logic.
