Overview
Use the Mobile app’s Calendar to look at work by date. It brings dated Checklists and Assignments into a calendar view so you can inspect today’s work and look ahead.
The Mobile Calendar displays your accessible work. Administrators create and change the underlying Schedules in the Backend.

💡 Why this matters: Looking ahead helps you prepare for upcoming work while keeping the actual start and deadline rules visible.
Browse dates and work
1. Open the Calendar
From the Mobile app home screen, tap CALENDAR. Connect to the internet when planning ahead so the app can retrieve the selected period’s work.
2. Choose the day
Use the calendar’s month controls and select a date. Check the selected day before acting on a list item. A future entry shows planned work; appearing in the Calendar does not by itself mean you can start it now.
3. Choose the work type
Switch between Checklists and Assignments. Inspect the Location or Asset, title and timing on the item before opening it. Use the Assignment itself for its full task details and current status.
Start a scheduled Checklist
Open the Checklist entry for the intended date and Location. If it is available, continue through the normal Checklist workflow. An upcoming Checklist may instead show that it is available later.
Early starts depend on the Schedule’s Allow early start setting. Where enabled, a planned Checklist can be available up to 28 days before its start, subject to the preceding slot ending. The preceding slot’s grace period also matters. Read any early-start message provided by the administrator.
🛑 Critical: Do not use an early start to complete a check that your procedure requires at a specific operational time. Administrators should not enable it for checks marked critical for operation. See early-start and compliance settings.
Understand the scope
What you need | Where to go |
Dated work you can access | Calendar in the Mobile app |
Repeatable work without time slots | Checklists › Continuous |
Create or change recurring timing | Schedules in the Backend |
Read submitted reports | Reports in the Mobile app |
A Calendar filter or date selection does not grant access to another team’s work. Schedule assignments and Location membership still apply. See how access works.
Offline, the Calendar can only use the working data already on your device. It is not an offline copy of every future month. Refresh and prepare the relevant Checklists while online; see working offline.
Use the view to prepare
Review upcoming dates before a shift or planned maintenance period. Check whether you have the required instructions and access, and ask the Schedule owner about timing changes. The app’s Calendar is useful for finding the work; the Backend is where the Schedule owner changes its timing.
Use completing a Checklist for the answering and submission steps. For assigned tasks, use Assignment statuses in the app.
Best practices
Check the date and Location before starting similar-looking work.
Review future dates while online.
Use the assigned work’s timing rather than treating every visible entry as immediately available.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use the mobile Calendar to see every Checklist across the organization?
No. It displays work within your access and assignments. Administrators should use Backend Schedules and Schedule Metrics when checking the wider setup.
How does Allow early start work?
The administrator enables it on the Schedule. Start eligible future work from its date in the Mobile Calendar, within the permitted window. See early-start conditions.
Is being in the User Group enough to see a ride’s Checklists?
Not always. Check the Schedule’s assignees and your Location membership as well. See Checklist visibility in the Mobile app.
