Overview
The Notification Center gathers updates such as Assignment activity, Result review requests and awarded Competencies. Open it from the bell in the Mobile app’s home-screen header.
Use notifications as a route into the relevant work. Reading an update does not resolve the Assignment or approve the Result it refers to.

💡 Why this matters: Following an update into its record helps you act on the right item without confusing an unread badge with a work queue.
Read and open updates
1. Open the bell
Connect to Mobaro and tap the notification bell. The badge highlights unread notifications. The Notification Center needs a connection to load its list.
2. Select an update
Read the item’s type and time, then tap it. The app marks an unread notification as read and opens the relevant record or work area.
3. Load earlier items
Use Load more to retrieve earlier notifications when it is available. A notification is a record of an event; the related work may have changed since it was sent.
Know where an update leads
Notification | Destination |
Assignment assigned, resolved or commented | The Assignment |
Image comment or category change | The image details |
Competency awarded | Your Competencies |
Result requires validation | The review list |
Result available for review | Reports |
Complete any needed action in that destination. For example, use the Assignment’s workflow to update its status, or the Result’s validation action to approve or disapprove it. See Assignment statuses and Result validation.
The destination can be a list rather than the exact Result. Confirm the Location, Checklist and date before taking action.
Manage the unread list
To clear unread status, use the check-mark control in the Notification Center header. The Mark all as read confirmation lets you continue with OK or leave the list unchanged with Cancel.
ℹ️ Note: Marking notifications as read only changes their read status. It does not complete Checklists, resolve Assignments, approve Results or confirm that someone has dealt with the work.
Use the underlying work lists to establish what is still outstanding. An empty unread badge should not be treated as proof that your team has no work left.
Choose the updates you receive
Notification settings decide which events generate email or push updates. Personal settings can override the organization’s defaults. Use organization and personal notification settings to change those preferences.
Phone push delivery, email and the in-app notification list are different parts of the experience. If expected updates do not arrive, use notification troubleshooting rather than changing task assignees solely to test a notification.
Keep the Notification Center as a way to notice changes, alongside your normal Checklist, Assignment and review routines.
Best practices
Open the record and check its current state before acting.
Use read status to manage attention, not to record completion.
Keep personal notification choices aligned with your review responsibilities.
Frequently asked questions
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Change the relevant personal email or push settings. Mark all as read does not mute future updates. See notification settings.
Can the Backend send browser pop-up notifications?
No. Use its notification list or email, and the Mobile app for push notifications. See feature compatibility.
Can managers receive a daily list of missed Checklists?
Use the missing-results digest settings rather than assuming every missed check appears as an individual alert. See notification settings for the relevant options.
