Overview
An answer option may be used by page visibility, question logic or a trigger elsewhere in the Checklist. When you delete an option with dependencies, Mobaro asks how to handle those references.

Before you start
If you only need a different display order, drag the existing options into position. Do not delete and recreate them just to reorder the list. Back up the Checklist and record the expected behavior before changing an answer’s meaning.
Walkthrough
1. Review the existing options
Open the Select Question or Select Question Group. Inspect the option text and points, and check the question’s Triggers and the logic on dependent questions or pages. For a replacement, keep or add the answer that should receive the old references.
2. Remove the retiring option
Select the trash icon beside that option. If Mobaro finds dependencies, a warning dialog appears. If there are none, the option is removed from the editor without that dependency choice. Keep at least one valid option.
3. Choose replacement or removal
Choose to replace the dependent logic with a remaining option only when that option has the intended meaning. Otherwise choose to delete the dependent logic, then rebuild any rules you still need. Confirm the selected action; use Cancel if the consequences are unclear.
4. Review the rules and save
Inspect the affected visibility conditions and triggers again before saving. Check points and translations as well as the primary-language label. Test the remaining answers in a controlled inspection, including answers that should hide a follow-up page.
Check the outcome
The change takes effect when you save the Checklist. Already submitted Results retain their recorded Checklist revision. A deleted option’s old Results are not relabelled as the replacement answer; keep that distinction when interpreting historical reports.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to delete options to reorder them?
No. Drag the existing options into the required order. This preserves the option identities used by logic and triggers.
Can a multiple-choice question be answered with no selections?
A visible question still needs an answer. Provide an appropriate explicit answer or use visibility logic where the question does not apply; see Select Questions.
Will changing the options rewrite old Results?
No. Submitted Results retain the revision used when they were completed. Review historical and new answer sets separately.
