A Checklist backup is a PDF reference of its structure, not a completed inspection Result. Use a small pack when a procedure owner needs to review wording, branches and automation before you change a Checklist.

💡 Why this matters: A readable reference lets reviewers check the procedure and its automation together.
Before you start
Confirm which Checklists and current wording belong in the review. For completed evidence, use Exporting Results instead. A backup PDF is not an importable restore point.
Walkthrough
1. Select the review set
Go to Checklists and select up to five Checklists. Use Export Backup for the pack. To review one first, select it and open Backup Preview, then Download PDF.
2. Include decision logic
In the export options, enable Show page and question logic when the reviewer needs to understand conditional sections. Without those details, a printed page can look unconditional even though the mobile workflow is not.
3. Include automation details
Enable Show question triggers to include the configured follow-up actions. Choose Show compact layout if it suits the review. These options describe the setup; printing does not run the triggers.
4. Export and check the pack
Click Export. Open the PDF and check the titles, page order and a known conditional question. Keep the file with the review date and the proposed changes. Saving later edits in Mobaro will not update that PDF.
Check the outcome
The pack contains the intended blank Checklist structures and enough logic detail for the review. It contains no newly completed Results.
Best practices
Export a fresh pack after approved changes.
Keep a separate list of review decisions rather than marking the PDF as a completed inspection.
Use several packs if the review covers more than five Checklists.
Frequently asked questions
Can I upload the backup to restore the Checklist?
No. The PDF is a reference. Mobaro has no PDF backup restore command. See Checklist maintenance.
Why does the export stop with a maximum-five message?
Only five Checklists can be exported as a backup at a time. Reduce the selection and export another pack.
Does this include completed answers?
No. Export Backup contains the Checklist structure. Export Results when you need completed inspection evidence.
