Overview
Your Profile in the Mobaro app holds your personal app settings, such as the language, the map and which Locations you work with, plus account actions like changing organization and logging out. This article explains every item on it, where each setting is saved, and why some may be missing.
To open it, tap the tile with your profile photo on the home screen.

Your account
The top of the Profile shows your name, email and active organization. Tap the photo to take a new profile photo with the camera.
Item | What it does |
Logout | Signs you out straight away, without warning about work still waiting to upload. Those items stay on the device and upload when you sign in again, so check the connection tile first. See Working online versus offline with Mobaro. |
Change Organization | Switches to another Mobaro organization you belong to. Shown only if you belong to more than one. |
Change Password | Sets a new Mobaro password. Not shown if you sign in with single sign-on. See Change or reset your Mobaro password. |

App settings
Settings saved with your user follow you to every device at its next refresh. Settings saved on this device apply only to that phone or tablet.

Your date format, 12- or 24-hour clock and temperature unit aren't set here: the app uses the ones in your user profile in the Backend. Logging out resets Use Satellite Maps, Use Alternative Camera and Preferred Locale to their defaults.
Settings an administrator controls
In the Backend, open a User in Administrate › Users and expand App Settings to set these for them: Automatically log in, Group checklists by folder (the starting Group By in the Checklists list), Show map in checklists view, Show short name for assets, Show location scanner in dashboard header, Save checklist progress to cloud and Allow others to resume your cloud progress. The app picks them up at its next refresh.
Super Users can also tick Only allow administrator to make changes on a User. The app then hides the photo change, the settings with a switch, Preferred Language, Preferred Locale, Notification Settings and Change Password. Logout, Change Organization, Location Group Filter, Bluetooth, Recovery Procedures and Factory Reset stay available.
ℹ️ Note: Organization-wide app behaviour, such as the "Logged in as" prompt on shared devices and whether progress can be saved on the device, is set in Configuration › App Settings. See Configuring app settings and app area availability rules.
App information and data tools
App Version, Deploy Channel, Deploy Version, Appflow Version and Storage: details Mobaro Support may ask for. App Version is the store version and Deploy Version the in-app update. See How to download and update the Mobaro mobile app.
Privacy Policy: opens Mobaro's privacy policy in the browser.
Recovery Procedures: sends all progress saved on this device to Mobaro as unfinished data. It doesn't create Results.
Factory Reset: deletes everything the app stores on this device, including work not yet uploaded, and signs you out.
🛑 Critical: Factory Reset deletes queued Results and saved progress for everyone who uses the device, and they can't be recovered. The home screen's No pending uploads only covers the signed-in user, so have each user sign in and upload first, and only reset when Mobaro Support advises it.
Best practices
Use the Location Group Filter to focus on your own area, and clear it when you cover other areas.
On shared devices, always tap Logout at the end of your shift, after checking for No pending uploads.
Lock profiles with Only allow administrator to make changes for shared or kiosk-style accounts, so settings and language stay as you set them.

Frequently asked questions
How do I change my profile picture?
Open your Profile in the app and tap your photo to take a new one with the camera. If nothing happens, your profile is locked with Only allow administrator to make changes.
Can we stop users changing their profile picture or settings?
Yes. A Super User ticks Only allow administrator to make changes on the User in the Backend. The app then hides the photo change and the personal settings.
How do I change organizations in the app?
Tap Change Organization in your Profile and pick the organization. It only appears if your user belongs to more than one Mobaro organization.
How do I switch between an asset's name and its short name?
Turn Show short name for assets on or off in your Profile. Assets without a Short name keep showing their full name.
How can I make the app show just my location instead of the whole park?
Tap Location Group Filter and select your Location Group. Checklists, Assignments, Operations, Reports and Location Overview then show only its Locations.
