Overview
The Bulletin widget shows a titled message to Operators on a ride's RideOps tablet, at the top of the Operation Dashboard. Use it for information every shift at that ride should see while operating: a temporary procedure, a reminder about a height check, or who to call today.
You write the bulletin on the Location in the Backend, and it shows on every tablet at that ride. Each Location has one bulletin.

💡 Why this matters: A bulletin puts the day's must-know information where Operators already look, instead of on a paper note by the panel, and one change reaches every tablet at the ride.
Write the bulletin
1. Open the Location's RideOps Settings
In the Backend, go to Locations, open the ride's Location and click RideOps Settings.
2. Find the Bulletin Widget fields
Scroll to the Widgets configuration section and its Bulletin Widget heading. If the section or heading is missing, your organization doesn't have the Bulletin widget turned on.
3. Enter a title and content
Bulletin Widget Title: a short plain-text heading.
Bulletin Widget Content: the message. The box is a formatted-text editor, like the custom Operator messages in RideOps Configuration.
4. Save
Confirm the dialog and save the Location. Tablets pick up the new text the next time they update the ride, usually within a few minutes. To update the bulletin later, edit the same fields. To stop showing it, turn the widget off as described below.
Make it show on the tablets
Whether the widget shows depends on whether the Location's tablet settings are locked:

On an unlocked tablet, Operators can hide the widget with Hide from dashboard on the widget, or with Bulletin widget in the tablet's settings panel, and turn it back on there. On a locked tablet they can't hide it.
⚠️ Heads-up: The widget only shows while the ride is open and ready for operation, above the Riders and Queue widgets. It isn't shown on the Not ready for operation or closed screens, so don't rely on it for anything Operators must read before opening.

Best practices
Keep the title short and the message to what's true today; remove it when it's no longer true.
Put the name of the team or extension to call, not a person, in contact details.
Lock the Location's tablet settings with Show bulletin widget ticked if every shift must see it.
Use handover notes, not the bulletin, for anything that should block opening.
Frequently asked questions
How can I put information into the bulletin widget in RideOps?
In the Backend, open the ride's Location › RideOps Settings › Widgets configuration and fill in Bulletin Widget Title and Bulletin Widget Content, then save. The text shows on that ride's tablets within a few minutes.
I can't find the bulletin widget settings. Where are they?
They only appear when Mobaro has turned on Enable RideOps Bulletin Widget for your organization. Ask your CSM.
The bulletin isn't showing on the tablet. Why?
Check the ride is open and ready for operation. Then check the tablet's Bulletin widget setting is on (tablets used before the widget was turned on start with it off), or, if the Location is locked, that Show bulletin widget is ticked.
Can I post the same bulletin on every ride at once?
No. Each Location has its own bulletin, so enter it on every ride that needs it.
Can operators confirm they've read the bulletin?
No. The bulletin doesn't track readers. Use a handover note that requires acknowledgement instead.
