Overview
Build a daily Dashboard around the decisions a supervisor makes at the start of a shift: what is outstanding, what has been completed and what needs follow-up.
This guide suggests a practical starting layout and review routine. Adjust the selection to your operation; the individual widget guides explain their full settings.

💡 Why this matters: A small, purposeful view makes it easier to turn daily information into named follow-up actions.
Choose the daily questions
Question | Suggested widget |
What work needs attention? | Assignments |
Which expected checks are missing? | Missed Checklists |
What has been submitted? | Completed Checklists |
What is each Location’s status? | Location Overview |
Use the widget catalog to choose alternatives. Decide which Locations, Checklist Categories and date windows belong in the view. Keep trend analysis on a separate view if it makes the daily page harder to scan.
Build the shared view
1. Create a template for the audience
Open Dashboard Templates › Create. Give it a name such as “Maintenance daily review”. Set Limited recipients to to yourself while building. Leaving that field empty shares the template with everyone in the organization.
2. Add and arrange the widgets
Use Add a widget and Add a new row to build the layout. Put the items that lead to immediate action first. Follow Dashboard Template setup for the controls.
3. Create a saved working view
Create an Organization filter before configuring widget settings. Set each widget’s available Location and time filters deliberately. For example, keep today’s submissions separate from an outstanding-work view that includes earlier unfinished work. Name the views to make that difference clear.
Save the selected filter and choose the intended default. Do not assume all widgets interpret dates in the same way; check each widget’s guide before comparing totals.
4. Share and check the view
Add the supervisors’ User Group in Limited recipients to. Open the Dashboard with a representative viewer account and check the chosen filter. See sharing Dashboard Templates.
🛑 Critical: Dashboard filters do not grant data access. A supervisor sees data for their permitted Locations, so a clear or empty widget does not by itself prove that all work across the organization is complete.
Use it in the daily review
Begin by confirming the selected filter, date window and Location scope. Review outstanding Assignments and missed checks, then look at completed work and any operational status you use.
Open the relevant records from their source modules when a decision needs more detail. Agree who handles each item and by when. Handle missed work through Missing Results and review completed checks through Result validation. The Dashboard brings the information together; those workflows record the action.
After the first few reviews, remove widgets nobody uses and adjust ambiguous titles. If supervisors keep saving the same personal view, consider making it a shared Organization filter.
Best practices
Define the daily decisions before adding widgets.
Keep the date and Location scope visible in the view names.
Verify the shared view with a supervisor’s access before relying on it.
