Overview
Use a daily review to find missed Checklists, establish what happened and agree the next action. A Summary Report gives managers the previous day’s counts; the Missing Results list is where authorized reviewers follow up.
This workflow uses existing reporting and review tools. It does not automatically email a spreadsheet of every outstanding Checklist.

💡 Why this matters: A named reviewer and a regular review time turn a missed-work count into a decision about each inspection.
Choose the review team
1. Assign the Schedule reviewers
Choose a primary reviewer and backup for each area. Add them as Schedule reviewers and give the appropriate Role permission, Results › Validate Missing. Confirm Location membership and Result access using the access guide.
Keep responsibility separate from receiving an email. Adding a manager as a Summary Report recipient does not make them a Schedule reviewer or grant permission to resolve Missing Results.
Create the daily summary
2. Start a Summary Report
In Notification Rules, select Create › Summary Report. Give it a recognizable Name and Subject, such as “North Park daily review”.
3. Set the reporting period
Select the Locations’ time zone and set Frequency to Daily. The report covers the previous day and sends shortly after midnight. The time zone cannot be changed after saving; create a replacement rule if it is wrong.
4. Choose targets and recipients
Select the relevant Locations or Location Groups under Targets and your review team under Recipients. Use Limit to these checklists only when the routine should cover specific work. Decide whether to keep Skip when empty on, then save.
Each recipient’s email follows their access. Even a Super User must belong to a target Location to receive the summary. See Summary Report settings.
Enable reviewer alerts
5. Turn on the push digest
Reviewers can enable Missed results digest in their notification settings. It is a push notification, not an email list. The organization sets its interval; personal notification choices can override the default. See notification settings.
Run the daily review
Open the missed-work count’s View link or the Missing Results list, and check the intended Locations and period.
Ask whether work was actually completed and is still waiting to upload. A late upload can change the current list after the summary email was generated.
Have an authorized reviewer approve the missing occurrence or reschedule work according to your site’s procedure. Record the reason; do not treat approval as proof an inspection happened.
Check the next due work and tell the responsible team about any rescheduled inspection.
Use approving or rescheduling missed Results for the action steps.
⚠️ Heads-up: The summary counts Checklists missed during its reporting period, including ones later approved or rescheduled. It is not the current outstanding backlog, and the email does not update after delivery.
Best practices
Use a User Group for recipients so the routine survives staff changes.
Check the first summary with a normal recipient account.
Keep a separate handover note for decisions that need another team’s action.
Frequently asked questions
Can the daily email list every missing Checklist?
No. The Summary Report contains counts and View links. Review the current Missing Results list in Mobaro; the Missed results digest is a separate push alert.
Can I create a Notification Rule just for Missing Results?
A Summary Report includes missed counts, but it is not an event rule for each Missing Result. Use Schedule reviewers and the Missed results digest for the follow-up alert.
Why does one manager receive the summary and another does not?
Check each recipient’s target Location membership, Result access and email address. Also check whether the rule is disabled or Skip when empty suppressed a quiet period. See notification troubleshooting.
