Overview
A Number Question can record a meter reading each time an inspection is completed. A Value Development by Question widget then shows those readings over time for the selected Location and question.

Before you start
Identify the meter, its unit and whether the reading is cumulative or a point-in-time measurement. Keep the meter identity and question stable. Mobaro does not infer a meter replacement or reset from a falling reading.
Walkthrough
1. Define the reading
Add a Number Question. Name the meter in Title and explain exactly what to read in Explanatory Text. Use a unit from the available list, or put the unit in the title if the list does not contain it.
2. Set sensible input limits
Choose Minimum, Maximum and Decimal scale to match the instrument. These limits control what can be entered, not what is operationally acceptable. Keep plausible abnormal readings recordable.
3. Select the trend source
Add Value Development by Question to a Dashboard Template. Choose the Checklist, meter question, one Location and the time range. Save the template or appropriate filter. Do not combine different meters into a single assumed sequence.
4. Inspect readings and differences
Review the plotted values. For a cumulative meter, try Show difference from the previous result to inspect changes. Click a plotted reading to open its Result and investigate unusual changes, resets or entry mistakes.
Check the outcome
Known completed readings appear in the selected period. Differences are interpreted against the equipment’s history, rather than treated automatically as consumption or maintenance due.

Review the original Result before changing an unexpected answer.
Frequently asked questions
Can I add a custom unit?
No. The unit list is fixed. Put the unit in the question title or ask Support about the requirement. See Number Questions.
Why is the trend empty?
Select a supported question and a period containing completed, synced answers. Check the Location and your access too.
Does a meter threshold automatically schedule maintenance?
Not from this chart. Configure a supported question trigger separately if you need follow-up work. See Assignment Triggers.
