Overview
The Value Development By Question widget charts every answer to one or more Number, Slider or Temperature Questions on a Checklist over time, with one line per question. Use it to see whether a reading is rising, falling or holding steady.

What it shows
Each point is one answer, placed at the date and time it was answered, and labelled with its value (up to two decimals).
Each ticked question gets its own line, named after the question.
Temperature Question readings show in the viewer's own Temperature Format (Celsius or Fahrenheit), whichever unit the reading was taken in.
With Show difference from the previous result on, each point shows the change from the previous answer to the same question instead, with + for a rise.
It counts completed Results only, not deleted ones, whatever their approval state (Results awaiting validation count too). Each viewer sees only Results they can access, so two people can see different figures: see How access works in Mobaro.
⚠️ Heads-up: The Location filter takes a single Location. With no Location set, answers from every Location you can access are plotted on the same line, so readings from different rides mix. Pick a Location, or use Value Development By Location to get a line per Location.

Reading the widget
Hover over a point to see the date, time and value.
Click a point to open that Result's report.
Click an empty part of the chart to open Value Development By Question Results: the answers behind the chart with Question, User, Answered and Value, and a Show Report icon.
Please select question to show values for. means no question is ticked. No data is available for this widget. Please try changing your filtering. means there are no answers in the period.

Best practices
Use one Temperature or Number Question per appliance or ride, so each gets its own line.
Match the time range to how often the Checklist runs: a daily check over Last 12 months gives a crowded chart.
Frequently asked questions
How do I show temperature readings as a graph on the dashboard?
Add this widget, pick the Checklist, then tick the Temperature Question under Question. Temperature Questions work here and in Value Development By Location, but not in Value on Question. See Temperature Question Type.
Can I add several checklists to one widget and get a graph for each?
No. Each widget reads one Checklist. Add one widget per Checklist, and give each a title that names it.
Why are readings from different rides on the same line?
No Location is set, so all Locations share each question's line. Set the Location filter, or use Value Development By Location.
How can I see past rider counts and cycles?
If operators record them in a Number Question on a Checklist, chart that question here. Rider counts and dispatches recorded in RideOps are in the RideOps dashboard widgets.
