🚀 Early access: Inventory must be enabled for your organization. Ask your CSM about access to these controls.
Set the accounting currency
1. Open Currencies
In the Backend, go to Organization › Configuration and select Currencies. Inventory must be enabled for this tab to appear.
2. Select the currency
Choose your organization’s Accounting currency. Before the first save, you can search the currency list.
3. Save the setting
Click the Save icon in the Currencies panel. You can now enter Material prices and add other currencies. The accounting currency is the default for a Material that does not already have a price.
Add another currency
1. Open Add currency
Under Exchange rates, click Add currency (+). Only currencies not already listed are available.
2. Enter the exchange rate
Select Currency, then enter the Value of 1 unit of that currency in your accounting currency. For example, with USD as the accounting currency, enter 1.1 if 1 EUR should equal 1.1 USD.
3. Save the currency
Click Save. The row shows the conversion direction, for example 1 EUR = 1.1 USD. You can use the currency when you enter a Material’s Price per unit.
Rates must be greater than zero. The entry field allows up to nine digits before the decimal point and six after it. Enter the rate your organization wants to use; this screen does not fetch live market rates.
Change an exchange rate
1. Select the currency row
Select one row under Exchange rates, then click Change exchange rate (pencil). You can also double-click the row.
2. Save the revised rate
Enter the new rate and click Save. The selected currency stays the same.
⚠️ Heads-up: Warehouse values use the currently stored rates. Changing a rate can change the displayed value even when stock quantities have not changed. Material prices keep their original amounts and currencies.
Change the accounting currency
1. Select a listed currency
Choose another Accounting currency and click the panel’s Save icon. After initial setup, the new accounting currency must already be listed; add it first if necessary.
2. Confirm the change
Read the confirmation, then click Change. All rates are recalculated against the new accounting currency. The previous accounting currency becomes an additional currency.
Rates are rounded to six decimals. Changing back can produce small rounding differences; review the rates afterward. If a recalculated rate would round to zero, the change is refused. Adjust the rates before trying again.
Remove an additional currency
1. Select the currency
Select one additional currency and click Remove currency (trash).
2. Confirm removal
Click Remove. Removal is refused while any Material is priced in that currency. Change or clear those Material prices first. You cannot remove the accounting currency directly.

Frequently asked questions
Why can’t I see the Currencies tab?
Check that Inventory is enabled and that you can open Organization Configuration. Currency administration requires Organization › Administrate or Super User access. Ask your CSM to check feature availability.
Can I add a currency code that is not in the list?
No. Currency setup uses Mobaro’s currency list. You cannot enter a custom currency code in this screen.
Why is the currency missing from Add currency?
A currency already listed, including the accounting currency, is excluded from Add currency. Edit its existing rate instead.
Can I change currency settings from the mobile app?
No. Use Organization › Configuration › Currencies in the Backend.
