Overview
A Select Question Group is a Select question that covers several related items at once. The Title is the overall question, and each Line is an item the User evaluates — all sharing the same answer options. It can be Single or Multiple Choice, and it keeps reporting tidy by consolidating many similar checks into one structured question.
Users must be Super Users or have the following Role to add or edit Checklist questions:
Checklists: Modify or Create
Why this matters: When a dozen items all take the same Pass/Fail answer, a dozen separate Select questions bloat the form and the report. A Select Question Group collapses them into one question with one option set — faster to build, faster to complete, and far cleaner to read in reporting — while still scoring and triggering per line.
When to use a Select Question Group
Repeated checks with a shared answer set — for example, several station checks that are all Pass/Fail.
Operational inspections — multiple components that take the same response choices.
Condensed reporting — when you want related checks reported in a unified block rather than scattered.
Configuring a Select Question Group
1. Add the question
In the Mobaro Backend, go to Checklists, open the editor, click Add an element, and choose Select Question Group. Enter the Title (the overall category) and optional Explanatory Text.
2. Choose Single or Multiple Choice and define options
Pick Single (one option per line) or Multiple (several per line), then add the answer options (for example OK / Not OK) and assign points if you're scoring.
3. Add line items
Add a Line for each item to evaluate. Every line uses the same options but is answered separately.

Frequently asked questions
Q: How is this different from adding multiple Select Questions?
A: It consolidates related items that share one answer set into a single structured question — less clutter to build and to read in reporting.
Q: Can each line have different options?
A: No. All lines share the same answer options. If items need different options, use separate Select questions.
Q: Can I apply triggers to individual lines?
A: Yes. Triggers are set at the line level, so an action can fire for a specific line's answer.
