Overview
The Answer Distribution widget shows the answers to one Select or Smiley Question as a donut chart. Each segment represents an answer option.

What it shows
Each segment is one answer option; its size is how often that option was chosen in the time range. The legend lists each option with its percentage.
On a multiple-choice Select Question, every option ticked counts, so percentages are shares of all selections, not of Results.
On a Smiley Question, segments use the smiley colours; if the question allows N/A, N/A is a grey segment.
Only the question's current options are shown. Answers to an option since removed from the question aren't counted.
It counts completed Results only, not deleted ones, whatever their approval state (Results awaiting validation count too). Each viewer sees only Results they can access, so two people can see different figures: see How access works in Mobaro.

A condition with no answer picked isn't applied. Changing the Checklist clears the conditions.
Reading the widget
Hover over a segment to see how many times that answer was given.
Click a segment to list the Results with that answer, with Location, Asset, User, Answered and Score, and a link to each report.
Use the chart menu to view it full screen, print it, or download the data as CSV or XLS.
No data is available for this widget. Please try changing your filtering. means no Checklist or question is picked. If no answers match the filters and conditions, the donut is empty.

The Answer Counts (Column) widget in the same category shows how often each answer was given as columns instead. It also accepts Member Questions, with a Users and User Groups filter, and has Chart Options thresholds.
Best practices
Use conditions to focus on the Results that matter, for example only inspections where Ride in operation was answered Yes.
Use Select Questions with clear fixed answers for anything you want to chart. See Select Question type.
Frequently asked questions
Which questions can I use?
Select and Smiley Questions. For Number and Slider readings, use Value on Question or Value Development By Question (which also takes Temperature Questions). No widget charts free-text answers.
Why do the percentages not match the number of results?
On a multiple-choice Select Question, each ticked option counts once, so one Result can add to several segments. The percentages are shares of all selections.
Can I show several checklists in one widget?
No. Each widget reads one Checklist. Add a widget per Checklist.
Why is an old answer option missing from the chart?
The widget only shows the question's current options. If you removed or replaced an option in the Checklist, past answers to it aren't shown.
