When reviewing a recurring issue, start with the same inspection question rather than searching every photo from a Location. Gallery filters let you narrow by Checklist, page, question, time and Location.

Before you start
Identify the Checklist and question that collects the photos. The Gallery contains uploaded images; a device that has not synced may still hold evidence locally. See Gallery basics.
Walkthrough
1. Choose the Checklist question
Open Gallery and select one Checklist in its filter. Then choose the relevant Page and Question. Use the question’s actual identity, not just a similar title in a copied Checklist.
2. Narrow the comparison
Set the time range and Locations. Add Origin › From Camera if you specifically need images captured using the camera rather than selected from storage. This filter is not independent proof of when the photographed condition occurred.
3. Open the evidence
Open an image in the detailed view and inspect the image and its context. Compare it with the originating work record before deciding that two images show the same fault or require another Assignment.
4. Tag or follow the image
If useful, apply an existing Category using Configure Categories, with the appropriate permission. Use Subscribe to follow comments or category changes on that image. Record any required operational follow-up in the relevant work process.
Check the outcome
The review set contains the intended question’s images, and follow-up records point to the actual evidence. Categories remain visible to everyone who can see the images.
Best practices
Use existing Categories rather than creating a new label for each review.
Keep the same time and Location filters when comparing sets.
Check the linked work before raising duplicate Assignments.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make Gallery folders?
No. Use Categories and filters. See Gallery Categories.
Can I subscribe to every new photo for this question?
No. Subscriptions are per image and cover comments and category changes. They do not notify you when new photos arrive.
Why is an inspection photo absent?
Check the filters and whether the device uploaded its Result and attachments. A photo still stored on a device is not yet available in the Gallery.
