Overview

The Value on Question by Location widget shows a column per Location with a value from a Number or Slider Question: the latest answer at each Location, or the average, sum or change there over a period. Use it to compare the same reading across rides or sites.

Value on Question by Location widget with one column per Location

What it shows

Each column is one Location that has answers; its height is the value for that Location. The value is worked out per Location:

Choice	Value per Location
Latest Result (default)	The most recent answer at the Location, from any date.
Average Value	The average of the Location's answers in the period.
Sum	The total of the Location's answers in the period.
Difference	The Location's latest answer minus its earliest answer in the period (with Latest Result, across all dates).

Only Number Questions and Slider Questions can be picked. Answers that aren't a number are left out, and so are Results with no Location. A Location Group in the filter is shown as its individual Locations, not as one column. It counts completed Results only, not deleted ones, whatever their approval state (Results awaiting validation count too). Each viewer sees only Results they can access, so two people can see different figures: see How access works in Mobaro.

Settings and filters

Reading the widget

Hover over a column to see the Location and its value. Columns can't be clicked; to see the individual answers, use Value on Question filtered to that Location and click its figure.
A Location with no numeric answers in the period has no column.
No Checklist Selected means the Checklist filter is empty. No data is available for this widget. Please try changing your filtering. means no question is ticked or no answers match.

Best practices

Set thresholds to your acceptable range so out-of-range Locations stand out in red.
Pair this widget with Value Development By Location to see whether a Location's value is a one-off or a trend.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put checklist results in a graph and compare locations?

Yes. This widget compares one Number or Slider reading across Locations. To follow the reading over time per Location, use Value Development By Location. To compare Checklist scores, see Comparing scores across Checklists with Question Categories.

Why is one of my locations missing from the chart?

It has no numeric answers to the question in the time range, or you can't access its Results. With Latest Result, any answer ever given counts.

Can I use a temperature question?

No. This widget lists Number and Slider Questions only. Use Value Development By Location to chart Temperature Question readings per Location.

Can one widget show several checklists?

No. Each widget reads one Checklist. Add a widget per Checklist. See Value Development By Question.
