Overview
The Completed Checklists widget shows how many Checklists were completed in a time range, as one number. Click it to see the count per Location and the Results behind it. Use it to check how consistently Checklists are being done, and to compare periods.
To add the widget to a dashboard, see How to set up Dashboard Templates.

💡 Why this matters: A single completion count makes it easy to spot when adherence is slipping, so you can act before gaps turn into compliance issues.
What the widget counts
The number is the completed Checklist Results whose completion time falls in the time range. Unfinished and deleted Results aren't counted.
The widget only counts Results you can see. Super Users see all of them; other Users see Results at Locations they're a member of, within their Result permissions. Two people can therefore see different numbers on the same dashboard.
Filter the Completed Checklists widget
Use the buttons at the top of the widget to set the time range — Last 12 months by default, or for example Today or Current month — and to filter by Checklist Categories, Schedules, Checklists, Locations (Locations or Location Groups) and State.
State filters by where each Result is in validation. All four states are selected by default; with none selected, the widget shows 0:
State | Counts Results that… |
Default | Don't require validation |
Awaiting Validation | Require validation and haven't been approved or disapproved yet |
Approved | Have been approved |
Disapproved | Have been disapproved |
See the Results behind the number
Click the number to open Completed Checklists, which lists each Location (Target) with its Amount. Click a Location to list its Results, with the Checklist, User, Answered time and Score. Use the back arrow to return to the list of Locations.
Best practices
For reviewers, save a Personal filter with State set to Awaiting Validation only, to see how much is waiting for them.
Combine Locations and Checklist Categories to track one team or area, then compare the same filter across periods.
Save your filters in a Personal filter so the dashboard opens with them — see How to use the Dashboard.
Frequently asked questions
How can I see only the checklists that still need validation?
Set State to Awaiting Validation only. Approved and Disapproved Results have already been validated. You approve or disapprove from the Result itself, not from this widget.
Can I see how many inspections each worker did this year?
Not with this widget — it counts per Location. Use the Contributors widget: its details list each User with the number of Checklists they completed.
The checklist count isn't updating on the dashboard. Why?
Dashboards reload every 10 minutes and when you change the filter. A Result still on a device that hasn't synced isn't counted until it's uploaded. See How to use the Dashboard.
A colleague sees a different number on the same dashboard. Why?
The widget only counts Results each person can see, so Location membership and Result permissions change the number. Compare the selected filter first, then access.
