Overview
The Missed Checklists widget shows how many scheduled Checklists were missed: their slot ended without a Result. Click the number to see them per Location. Use it to spot where scheduled work isn't getting done.

💡 Why this matters: A missed Checklist is a gap in your compliance record. Seeing where they build up lets you fix the Schedule, staffing or process behind them.
What it shows
The number is the count of missed Checklists — one per Calendar slot or Ad Hoc Slot and Location (or Asset) that ended with no Result — whose slot ended in the time range. A slot ends at its deadline, or at the end of its grace period if it has one.
By default only missed Checklists still in the Missing state count, so the number drops as they're approved or rescheduled.

Schedules or Ad Hoc Slots with Ignore missing results don't create missed Checklists.
Super Users see all missed Checklists. Other Users see those at Locations they're a member of, from Schedules they can see — and the number only counts those whose Results they're allowed to see.
The widget's title reads Missing Checklists by default.

Reading the widget
Click the number to list each Location with its Missing, Approved and Rescheduled counts for the states you selected. Click a Location to see its Checklists with the Schedule (or Ad hoc Slot), Start and End. Use the back arrow to return.
The list uses the same filters and time range as the number.
You can't approve or reschedule from this list. Do that in Results › Missing Results, or from the Location Overview widget.
The widget reloads when you change a filter and with the dashboard every 10 minutes. Save changed filters in a Personal filter — see How to use the Dashboard.
Best practices
Set the time range to Last week or Current month for a trend, and keep one widget on All Time as your backlog of unhandled misses.
Turn on critical only for a view of the misses that affect operation.

Frequently asked questions
Which dashboard widget shows missed checklists?
This one, in the Count category. For missed Checklists per Location on a card, use the Location Overview widget, where missing Checklists show red in the Checklists bar.
The widget shows 0 missing today, but I can see missing results for today. Why?
A Checklist only becomes missed when its slot ends, and the widget counts it for the day the slot ended. Also check the State filter: approved or rescheduled ones aren't counted by default.
The widget shows a lower number than the list when I click it. Why?
The list shows every missed Checklist at your Locations. The number only counts those whose Results you're allowed to see, for example from Schedules you review. Super Users and Roles with Results › View see the same in both.
Does clicking the widget show older missed checklists outside my time range?
No. The list uses the same time range, State and other filters as the number. To see every unhandled miss, set the time range to All Time or use Results › Missing Results.
Can I get a notification about missed checklists?
Not from this widget. Reviewers with Validate Missing can turn on the Missed results digest. See How to handle missing Results.
