Overview
The Deviation Overview widget counts five kinds of compliance deviation in a period: missing Checklists, and Results answered too far from the Location, too late, too fast or below the maximum score. It answers the question "Where is Schedule compliance slipping?" Click a number to see the list behind it.

What it shows
Counter | What it counts |
Missing | Checklists not completed for a Location or Asset in a Calendar Schedule slot or Ad Hoc Slot that ended in the period. See How to handle missing Results. |
Out of bounds | Results with answers given outside the Location's radius, from Schedules with Require correct GPS location. |
Too late | Results completed after the slot's deadline, from Schedules with Require timely answer. |
Too fast | Results completed faster than the minimum, from Schedules with Require minimum answer duration. |
< 100% | Results scoring below the maximum, from Schedules with Require maximum score. |
The four Result counters count completed Results whose Answered time is in the period. A Result with two deviations counts under both.
A deviation is only recorded if the Schedule had the matching Compliance setting when the Result was completed. See Schedule compliance settings and Configure deviations to trigger result validations.
Missing Competencies and Water Quality rule deviations aren't counted here.
With Exclude approved items on, approved Results and approved missing Results are left out; disapproved Results and those awaiting validation still count.
Only data you can see counts. Super Users see everything; other Users see Results they're allowed to view at their Locations, and missing Checklists at their Locations from Schedules they can see. See How access works in Mobaro.
⚠️ Heads-up: Known issue: a Result is only counted under < 100% if it also has an Out of bounds, Too late or Too fast deviation. A Result whose only deviation is a score below the maximum isn't counted or listed. To find those, filter Results by Score › Less than 100 — see Viewing Checklist Results.
Settings and filters
Use the buttons at the top of the widget. Filters combine, so an item has to match all of them. The default title is Deviation overview. You can also give the widget a custom title. Anyone viewing the dashboard can change these settings for themselves; to keep them, save a Personal filter.

Reading the widget
Click a counter to open Details of the Deviation Overview, with a tab for each counter shown. The list uses the widget's filters.
The Missing tab lists Checklist, Location, Asset, Schedule (or Ad hoc Slot), Start and End.
The other tabs list Checklist, Location, Asset, Answered, Expected, User, Score and the approval status. Click the View result icon to open a Result.
A counter shows 0 when nothing matches; there's no no-data message.
Times are in the dashboard's time zone. The widget reloads with the dashboard every 10 minutes and whenever you change a setting. Bulk filtering can also change its time range, Checklists and Locations, and the Location Switcher its Locations. See How to use the Dashboard.
Best practices
Review the widget on a regular cadence and approve or follow up each item, so Exclude approved items leaves a clean to-do list.
Hide counters for rules you don't use with Open layout settings, so the widget only shows what you act on.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I find a list of deviations over a period?
In this widget. Set its time range and filters, then click a counter to list the missing Checklists or Results behind it. Click the View result icon to open a Result.
Why don't I see any GPS or timing deviations?
They're only recorded when the Schedule has Require correct GPS location, Require timely answer or Require minimum answer duration ticked when the Result is completed. Turning a setting on doesn't check earlier Results. See Schedule compliance settings.
Why doesn't the widget show today's missing checklists?
Missing counts a Checklist only once its slot has ended. Approved missing Results are also hidden while Exclude approved items is on.
Other users see no data in the widget, but I do. Why?
Super Users see everything. Other Users only see Results they're allowed to view at Locations they're a member of, and missing Checklists from Schedules they can see. Check their Locations and Role — see How access works in Mobaro.
How do I hide deviations that have already been handled?
Keep Exclude approved items on (the default). Approved Results and approved missing Results then drop out of the counts.
