Overview
You can move an Assignment through its statuses right from the mobile app while you work — no need to go back to a desk.
Note: The default statuses are Open, Started, and Finished. If your organization uses custom Assignment Definitions, you may see different states. See Understanding assignment statuses.
Changing the status
1. Open the assignment
In the app, go to Assignments and select the one you want to update.
2. Choose a new status
Tap the current status (e.g. Open) and select the new one.
3. Accept the change
Tap Accept Changes to save.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I change the status more than once?
A: Yes — update it as often as needed to reflect the task's progress.
Q: The status I need isn't there.
A: Available statuses depend on the Assignment Definition. If one's missing, ask your administrator — custom states are configured on the definition.
