Heads up: Water Quality is in early access. Expect changes and new features as we continue to improve the module.
Overview
The water quality module in Mobaro is designed to help you manage safe and compliant operations across pools, spas, and other water attractions. By setting clear rulesets, recording checks in the mobile app, and monitoring results in dashboards, your team can ensure water remains safe for guests and staff at all times.
This module integrates seamlessly with Mobaro checklists and dashboards, making water quality a core part of your daily operations and reporting.
Key features of the water quality module
Rulesets: Define water quality parameters (e.g. Free Chlorine, pH, Total Dissolved Solids) with minimum and maximum values.
Subrules: Apply specific thresholds to different location groups that may have different parameters (e.g. “Main Pools,” “Catch Pools,” or “Pump Rooms”).
Water Quality Question: Add a dedicated question type to checklists for recording readings directly against your rulesets.
Validation alerts: Staff are prompted if a reading falls outside the allowed range.
Dashboards & widgets: Monitor real-time compliance and identify trends across multiple attractions.
Important note about parameters
All parameters in a ruleset must have a value set (minimum and maximum). However, within the Water Quality Question configuration, you can choose whether or not each parameter must be checked during inspections.
Tip: Use this flexibility to avoid unnecessary checks — for example, enable pH and chlorine for pools, but skip bromine unless it applies to your site.
Benefits of using the module
Consistency: Standardize water checks across all pools and attractions.
Compliance: Meet local regulations and industry standards with clear documentation.
Accountability: Ensure staff know what to measure and get notified when values are out of range.
Efficiency: Reduce paperwork and centralize reporting in Mobaro dashboards.
