Inventory in Mobaro: overview (early access)

What Mobaro Inventory is and its core building blocks — Products, Categories, Warehouses, stock, and Requisitions. Inventory is an early-access feature.

Written by Logan Bowlby

Overview

Inventory brings stock management into Mobaro: track Products across your Warehouses, see live stock levels, adjust and transfer stock, and raise Requisitions to request what your teams need — all alongside the work that consumes it. This article explains the building blocks and how the pieces fit together.

🚀 Early Access: Inventory is an early-access feature and may not be enabled for your account. Contact Mobaro Support to request access.

Why this matters: Most parks already track stock somewhere — a spreadsheet, an ERP, a dedicated tool. Bringing it into Mobaro puts stock next to the work that consumes it (Checklists, Assignments, RideOps), so the people doing the work can see and request parts without leaving the platform.

The building blocks

Concept

What it is

Product

An item you stock — a part, consumable, or supply. Carries a name, code, description, manufacturer, image, and a Category.

Category

A grouping for Products, nestable into a tree (a Category can have a parent) to mirror how your catalogue is organized.

Warehouse

A stock-holding location. Stock levels are tracked per Warehouse, so you always know what's where.

Stock

The quantity of a Product held in a Warehouse. Changes through adjustments, transfers, and requisition fulfilment, with a history you can review.

Requisition

A request for the Products a job needs, raised on an Assignment and then fulfilled to move the stock.

Frequently asked questions

Q: How do I get Inventory turned on?
A: It's an early-access feature. Contact Mobaro Support with your organization name to request access.

Q: Is stock tracked per Warehouse or globally?
A: Per Warehouse. Each Product's quantity is held against a specific Warehouse, and transfers move stock between them.

Q: How does Inventory connect to the rest of Mobaro?
A: Warehouses sit alongside your Locations and teams, and Requisitions are raised on Assignments — so stock lives next to the Checklists, Assignments, and RideOps work that uses it.
