How to Troubleshoot Red Statuses in Location Overviews and the Location Review Dashboard
Learn what red statuses mean in dashboards and how to resolve them so locations display accurate results.
Overview
Red statuses in Mobaro dashboards indicate that something requires attention — usually an incomplete checklist or a validation that hasn’t yet been approved. This article explains how to identify the cause of red statuses and turn them green.
Understanding dashboard red statuses
Location overview red status
A red indicator in the Location Overview means one or more checklists or required actions are incomplete for that location. Click either the top red bar or the bottom red portion of the Checklist bar to view which items still need completion.
Tip: If multiple schedules exist for a location, ensure you’ve checked each one — some may still contain unstarted checklists.
Steps to resolve red statuses
Check for missing or incomplete checklists
Go to the Location Overview.
Click the red checklist bar to open a list of missing or incomplete checklists.
Complete all remaining tasks to ensure full coverage for that location.
Tip: You can also verify completion by comparing expected vs. completed checklists in the schedule configuration.
Validate completed checklists
If the location remains red after all checklists are finished:
Confirm that validation is required for the schedule.
Have a user with validation rights (such as those in a Reviewer group) perform the validation.
Validation can be completed from either:
The Mobaro backend (Results > select checklist > Validate), or
The Mobaro mobile app, by selecting and validating the checklist.
Important: Without proper validation permissions, users won’t see the option to validate. Administrators can adjust this under Roles.
Identify checklists awaiting validation
Go to Results in the backend.
Use the State filter to show all checklists awaiting validation.
Validate each checklist as needed to clear the red status.
Common scenarios and solutions
Scenario | Resolution |
The Location Overview shows a red status even after completing tasks. | Click the checklist indicator to ensure all required checklists for that day and location are submitted. |
The Location Overview checklist bar is still yellow or red after checklist completion. | Verify if validation is required. If so, validate the checklists through the backend or app. |
A user can’t validate a checklist. | Confirm the user has validation rights or belongs to a Reviewer-type role. |
Red status persists after validation. | Refresh the dashboard — the system updates after validations are processed. |
Summary
By completing all checklists and validating them where required, your Location Overviews and Location Review dashboards will reflect accurate green statuses — ensuring your team maintains clear visibility and compliance across operations.
