Updating and adding to the Operational Log

Add and edit Operational Log entries for a Location — ride dispatches and queue times — and filter the log by timeframe, activity type, or User.

Written by Logan Bowlby

The Operational Log records a Location's activity — ride dispatches, queue times, and more. This data is the raw material behind throughput and guest-experience reporting, so logging it consistently — and being able to correct it — keeps those operational insights accurate. This article covers adding new entries, editing existing ones, and filtering the log.

Users must be Super Users or have access to the Location plus the following Roles:

  • Operations: Manage Dispatch Entries and Manage Queue Entries

Opening the Operational Log

Go to Locations in the Mobaro Backend, select the Location, and click the Operational Log icon to open the log.

Adding a log entry

Click + in the Operational Log. In the Create Operational Activity dialog, choose the Activity TypeRiders Dispatch or Queue Time — set the Date (activity date and time) and the Operator responsible, then enter the fields for that type. Riders Dispatch takes the dispatch count, units in use, and seat availability; Queue Time takes the queue duration in minutes. Click Save.

Editing a log entry

Browse or filter the log, select the entry, click the Edit icon, modify the fields, and click Save.

Viewing and filtering

Use the filter menu to narrow the log by timeframe (for example Today or This Week), activity type (Dispatch, Queue), or User, and sort by time for clarity.
