Overview
Dashboards are how you read your operational data in Mobaro — both history (last week's compliance, last month's downtime) and the live picture (which Locations are ready, which Assignments are open). Each dashboard is built from a Dashboard Template: the template decides which widgets appear and which Organization filters exist; you choose how to filter and view it.

💡 Why this matters: A dashboard that opens on the right view, and keeps itself current on a wall screen, is one people actually use. Setting a default filter and a favorite dashboard takes a minute and saves re-filtering on every visit.
What's on a dashboard
A dashboard is a layout of widgets, each showing one slice of data — for example Location Overview (readiness per Location, see Downtime on Dashboards), Assignments, completed Checklists, compliance scores, or MTTR and MTBF (see MTTR and MTBF — Mobaro's reliability metrics). Filter a dashboard
Use the Filter dropdown above the widgets. It lists two kinds of saved filters:
Organization — defined on the Dashboard Template and shared with everyone who sees it. You can use them but not overwrite them.
Personal — yours alone, on this dashboard. Create one with Create Filter; after changing widget settings, keep the changes with the Save Filter icon, or discard them with Undo Changes.

The Bulk filtering icon opens Bulk widget filtering, where you can change the time range, Checklists and Locations/Location Groups for every applicable widget at once, then click Apply. Some widgets may need further setup afterwards.
If the template has Limit available filters to those defined in this template turned on, you can only choose its Organization filters — Create Filter and Bulk filtering aren't available.
Set your default filter and dashboard
Select one of your Personal filters and click the star icon (Default Filter). The dashboard then opens with that filter. Only Personal filters have the star; the template can set an Organization filter as the default for everyone, but your own Personal default wins.
To open on an Organization filter's view by default, select it, click Create Filter to save a Personal copy, and star the copy.
To choose which dashboard opens when you click Dashboards in the menu, click the star next to the dashboard's name (Favorite Dashboard). This is per User.
Full-screen, touch mode and Auto Play
Floating buttons at the edge of the dashboard control the display modes. Toggle Fullscreen Mode puts the dashboard into your browser's full-screen view, hiding the Backend menu and browser toolbars — ideal for a wall TV or a meeting.
In full-screen, Toggle Touch Mode appears. Touch mode shows the dashboard's filters as large tiles in a side panel; tap a tile to switch filter. Click Toggle Touch Mode again to hide the panel — this also stops Auto Play.
When the dashboard has two or more filters, a play button sits below the tiles. It opens Auto Play Settings: enter Interval (in minutes) — at least 0.5 — and click Confirm. The dashboard then cycles through all its filters. Tapping a tile jumps to that filter and the cycle continues from there; tap pause to stop.
⚠️ Heads-up: Pressing Esc (or leaving browser full-screen any other way) exits full-screen and touch mode together, and stops Auto Play. On an unattended display, avoid keyboards that might send Esc.
Use the Location Switcher
Toggle Location Switcher opens a list of Locations, in full-screen or not. Tap a Location to show it on every applicable widget. The template can limit the list with Limited locations/groups in Location Switcher.
How dashboards refresh
Every dashboard reloads its data automatically every 10 minutes, and whenever you change the filter. The interval can't be changed or turned off. A refresh is skipped while a dialog is open. The Assignments and Notes widgets also update themselves every 30 seconds.
Starting Auto Play pauses the 10-minute timer — each filter's data is loaded fresh as the rotation reaches it. The timer restarts when you leave touch mode or full-screen.
Best practices
Set a favorite dashboard and a default Personal filter in your first week — it's the difference between a dashboard you use and one you re-configure every visit.
For a control-room TV, use full-screen, touch mode and Auto Play with a few filters such as Today, Week to date and Month to date.
Name Personal filters by what they show (e.g. Today — Maintenance) so the right one is easy to find in the dropdown.
Frequently asked questions
How do I save my filter settings so I don't have to filter every time?
Save them as a Personal filter: use Create Filter, or Save Filter after changing an existing Personal filter. Then click the star (Default Filter) so the dashboard opens with it. Changes to Organization filters can't be saved.
Can I make an Organization filter my default?
No — the Default Filter star only appears on Personal filters. Select the Organization filter, click Create Filter to save a Personal copy, and star that copy.
How often does a dashboard refresh, and can I make it faster?
Every 10 minutes, and whenever the filter changes. The interval is fixed and can't be shortened or turned off. The Assignments and Notes widgets update every 30 seconds.
What does "Limit available filters to those defined in this template" mean?
It's a Dashboard Template setting. When it's on, viewers can only pick the template's Organization filters — they can't create Personal filters or use Bulk filtering. See How to set up Dashboard Templates.
How do I leave touch mode?
Click Toggle Touch Mode again to go back to plain full-screen; this also stops Auto Play. Pressing Esc exits full-screen and touch mode together and stops Auto Play.
A colleague sees different numbers on the same dashboard. Why?
The widgets are the same, but each person sees data for the Locations they have access to, through the filter they have selected. Compare the selected filter first, then Location access.
