Overview
Mobaro is an operations platform for parks and attractions. Teams use it to run inspections and safety checks, follow up on issues, operate rides, and prove compliance. This page summarizes the main features and links to the article that covers each one in detail.
You set most features up in the Backend (web). Staff use them in the Mobaro app on phones and tablets, and ride operators use RideOps at the ride.

Inspections and compliance
Feature | What it does |
Checklists | Digital forms with many question types (including QR/Barcode or NFC scanner questions), conditional logic, reference manuals and videos, scoring, translations into other languages, and triggers that create follow-up work from an answer. |
Locations and Location Groups | Model your rides, attractions and areas as Locations, and group them into Location Groups for scheduling and reporting. |
Schedules | Make Checklists available on a Calendar, continuously, or through Ad Hoc Slots, with compliance settings such as required GPS location, timely answers and validation. See Schedule compliance settings. |

Results | Every submitted Checklist, searchable and filterable, with approval, disapproval and invalidation. Missed Checklists become Missing Results you can approve or reschedule. |

Ride operations

Operators, attendants and positions | Operators sign in with a PIN and must hold the ride's required Competencies. Attendants are tracked by position. |
Downtime and uptime | Downtime with categories and templates, uptime periods, and lag time between maintenance finishing and operation restarting. |
Notes and handover notes | Notes for a Location, shown in RideOps. Handover notes that operators must acknowledge are an add-on. |

Frequently asked questions
What is Inventory, and where do I find it in Mobaro?
Inventory Management is an early-access module for spare parts and stock. When Mobaro has enabled it, Inventory appears in the sidebar; otherwise it is greyed out with "Inventory Management is not enabled for this organization. Contact Mobaro to enable it." See Inventory in Mobaro: overview (early access).
Can Mobaro stop a ride from opening until its inspections are done?
Yes. Mark the Schedule or Ad Hoc Slot as Is critical for operation, and the Location shows as not ready until the Checklist is completed. See Understanding criticality settings with schedules.
Can I get an email when a checklist gets a low score?
Yes. Create a Result Report Notification Rule for that Checklist and tick Only send a notification if the result’s overall score is below maximum. Add recipients, or User Groups under BCC.
Does Mobaro remind people before a certification expires?
No. Mobaro sends no expiry or renewal reminders. Check the Competency Overview widget for certifications due for renewal. See Staying ahead of certification expiry.
