Overview
Mobaro runs in three places: the Mobaro app on phones and tablets, RideOps in a tablet's browser, and the Backend in a web browser. This article shows which to use on which device, and which features depend on the device.
To install the app, see How to download and update the Mobaro mobile app. For device specs, see Choosing devices for Mobaro.

ℹ️ Note: A Windows version of the app is listed in the Microsoft Store, but it's an older version than the iOS and Android apps and doesn't get in-app updates. Contact Mobaro Support before you rely on it.

Best practices
Give frontline staff phones or tablets with the Mobaro app, and office users the Backend in a browser.
Use tablets of about 10 inches for RideOps.
Check that devices have the hardware your Checklists need, such as NFC for Scanner Questions set to NFC.
Keep the app up to date, so every device gets the same features.
Frequently asked questions
Can I complete Checklists on a laptop or PC?
No. Checklists are completed in the Mobaro app on a phone or tablet, or in RideOps for a ride's Checklists. The Backend in a browser is for setup, review and reporting. For the Windows app, see How to download and update the Mobaro mobile app.
Can I get notifications in my browser?
No. The Backend doesn't show browser pop-ups. It lists your notifications under Notifications in the sidebar and can email you. Push notifications go to the Mobaro app. See Organizational and personal notification settings.
Which Bluetooth devices does Mobaro support?
Bluetooth thermometers, for Temperature questions in the Mobaro app. See How to Pair a Bluetooth Device with Mobaro for supported models.
Does the Mobaro app work with NFC tags?
Yes. A Scanner Question with Method of Scanning set to NFC reads NFC tags, on a phone or tablet that has an NFC reader. Otherwise, use QR/Barcode.
