Overview
Sooner or later a Schedule has to stop: the park closes for the season, a ride is out of service for months, or a Checklist is replaced. Mobaro gives you several ways to stop scheduled Checklists, and they behave very differently: some skip dates and carry on, some end on a date, and deleting removes the Schedule for good.

💡 Why this matters: Choosing the wrong way to stop a Schedule either leaves Checklists popping up that nobody will do, piling up Missing Results, or throws away the record that a check was due. Picking deliberately keeps both your app and your compliance record clean.

Removing Locations, Checklists or Assets, and Ignore missing results, all apply to every slot that hasn't ended yet, including one in progress. See Schedule compliance settings before using Ignore missing results on a check that's critical for operation.
Pause a Schedule for a while
An Exclusion skips a period, such as a closure or the off-season, and the Schedule resumes afterwards without any changes. Add it to a master Calendar to pause every Schedule that inherits it, or to one Calendar Schedule. It only skips slots that haven't started. Continuous Schedules and Ad Hoc Slots can't be paused with an Exclusion. To stop a Continuous Schedule at one Location, remove that Location under Where?; to stop it everywhere, delete it and create it again when you need it.
End a Schedule on a date
A Calendar Schedule has no end date of its own: it runs as long as its slots do. To end it, open Patterns and tick Set Expiration Date on each Pattern, including those in any master Calendar it inherits. No slots start after the Expiration date. Specifics end on their own dates. In Schedules, the Expiration column shows when the last slot of a Calendar Schedule ends. It's empty while any of its Patterns has no expiration date. A Continuous Schedule never expires; delete it when it's no longer needed.
Delete a Schedule
1. Select the Schedule
Go to Schedules and select the Schedule. To delete several, click Toggle Multiselect first and select them all.
2. Click Delete
Click the bin icon (Delete). It only appears if you're allowed to delete every selected Schedule.
3. Confirm
Mobaro asks Are you sure you want to delete this schedule? Click Delete Schedule.
Deleting a Calendar Schedule or Continuous Schedule does this:

🛑 Critical: Deleting a Schedule can't be undone, and the Checklists under way are ended without a Missing Result, so nothing records that those checks weren't done. For a pre-opening or safety check, let the current slot finish, or pause the Schedule with an Exclusion instead.
Deleting a Pattern, a Specific or a master Calendar ends slots the same way: see Specific slots: one-off and multi-day times and Creating a master Calendar. Deleting a Checklist removes it from every Schedule and from slots under way; see Editing and maintaining your checklists.
Delete an Ad Hoc Slot
Go to Schedules › Ad Hoc Slots, select the slot, click Delete and confirm Delete Slot. Super Users and the slot's creator can delete it. Anyone else needs a Role with both Schedules › Delete, to see the button, and Schedules › Modify; the slot's Owners field gives no delete rights.
Not started: the slot is removed.
Under way: it ends now, without Missing Results.
Ended and archived: it can't be deleted.
A reschedule of a Missing Result: deleting it rejects the reschedule. See Approving or rescheduling missed Results.
Schedules and master Calendars are read-only in the Mobaro API, so you can't pause or delete them there. Ad Hoc Slots can be deleted through the API; see Ad Hoc Slots — setup and behavior.
Best practices
Pause with an Exclusion when the Schedule will be needed again; delete only when it won't.
Before deleting, check the Schedule's name and its Calendars column, and take a note of its Checklists, Locations and people in case you need to rebuild it.
Delete outside operating hours, so no slot is under way.
Set expiration dates on seasonal Patterns at the start of the season, not after it ends.
Frequently asked questions
How can I pause or suspend scheduled inspections during a long closure or downtime?
Add an Exclusion covering the closure to the Calendar Schedule or its master Calendar. Slots in that period are skipped and create no Missing Results; the Schedule carries on afterwards. It can't skip slots already under way.
I deleted a schedule and think it was the wrong one. Can I check or restore it?
Not in the Backend. Deleted Schedules aren't listed anywhere, and there's no log or restore option. Contact Mobaro Support with the Schedule's name and when it was deleted.
Can I stop today's checklists if they have already started?
Not with an Exclusion. Let them run and approve the Missing Results with a comment such as "Park closed". To stop one Location immediately, remove it under Where?; that applies to slots under way.
How do I remove a location or a checklist from a schedule?
Open the Schedule (on a Calendar Schedule, click Settings, the cog), remove it under Where? or What? and save. The change applies to future slots and to slots that haven't ended yet.
If I delete a checklist, is it removed from the schedule too?
Yes. Deleting a Checklist removes it from every Schedule and from slots under way. To keep the Schedule running, add the replacement Checklist under What? before you delete the old one.
