Overview
The Operations Report is a PDF recap of how your park operated — operating hours, downtime and guests carried for the park, plus a page per Location with uptime, dispatches, queue times and the Assignments, Results and Downtimes logged there. Mobaro emails it on a schedule to the people you choose, through an Operations Report Notification Rule.
The report is built from RideOps operational data, so it covers Locations with Operational Logging turned on. This article covers turning it on, setting up the rule, and what the PDF contains.

💡 Why this matters: Leaders want yesterday's operations in their inbox before the park opens, not a dashboard they have to go and find. One rule gives every recipient the same numbers every morning.
Turn on the Operations Report
The Operations Report is an add-on that Mobaro turns on for your organization. Ask your Customer Success Manager, or email [email protected]. Until it's on, Operations Report doesn't appear in the Notification Rules + menu, and existing Operations Report rules don't send.
What's in the report
Park Summary: Total Operating Hours, Total Downtime, Attendance and Ride per Capita.
Operational Summary: guests carried per hour for all attractions, compared by Location.
A Daily Attraction Report per Location: Uptime, Guests carried, Total dispatches, Opening time and Opening Operator, Downtime, Avg Queue time, Unavailable seats, Closing time and Closing Operator, and a breakdown of guests carried, wait time and dispatches.
Ride activities per Location, when there are any: Assignments created, Results answered and Downtimes started in the period.
For how uptime and downtime are calculated, see Uptime, downtime, and lag time explained.
When the report is sent
Mobaro sends the report shortly after midnight, in the rule's time zone, on each weekday you pick. The Period decides what it covers and how the breakdown is grouped:
Period | Covers | Breakdown |
Day | The previous day, midnight to midnight | Per hour |
Week | From the Start of Week up to the start of the sending day | Per day |
Month | From the 1st of the month up to the start of the sending day | Per week |
⚠️ Heads-up: A Week report sent on the Start of Week day, or a Month report sent on the 1st, covers no time at all. The sending day is never included, so a Week report covers at most six days — for example, send on Sunday with Monday as Start of Week to cover Monday to Saturday.
Create an Operations Report rule
1. Start a new rule
In the Mobaro Backend, go to Notification Rules, click + and choose Operations Report. The rule is set up in four tabs; use Next and Previous to move between them.
2. Choose Recipients
Pick the Users and User Groups who get the report. At least one is required. Each recipient gets their own email, in their own language.
3. Choose Targets
Pick the Locations or Location Groups the report covers. At least one is required. Only Locations with Operational Logging appear in the report — see Utilizing Operational Logging.
⚠️ Heads-up: Choose either Locations or Location Groups, not both. If you add both, the report only includes Locations that are in your list and in one of the Location Groups — often none.
4. Set the Scheduling
Choose the Weekdays to send on, the Period (Day, Week or Month), the Start of Week for weekly reports, and the time zone that decides when days start and end. The Which items should be included? choice is required but doesn't change the Operations Report.
5. Name the rule and create it
Mobaro suggests a name such as Send Operations Report to …; change it if you like. Optionally enter a Subject (optional) and Body (optional) for the email. Click Create. The rule is active straight away.
To edit, disable or delete the rule later, see Create and manage Notification Rules.
Attendance and Ride per Capita
Attendance and Ride per Capita need attendance figures sent to Mobaro through the API — see Sending park attendance to Mobaro via the API. Without them, both show -.
The report uses the most recent attendance post's currentAttendance value (shown as In Park on the Latest Attendance widget) — for each Location Group in Targets, added together, or the organization-level figure if Targets has no Location Groups. Organization-level attendance isn't used when Targets has Location Groups. It isn't limited to the report's period. Ride per Capita is the guests carried at the included Locations divided by that attendance.
Troubleshooting
No report arrives: check that the add-on is on, the rule isn't disabled, and the recipient isn't disabled in your organization and has the right email address.
A Location is missing: check it has Operational Logging, and that you haven't mixed Locations and Location Groups in Targets.
Figures look empty: the Location had no RideOps activity in the period, or a Week or Month report was sent on the first day of its period.
Attendance shows -: no attendance has been sent for the Location Groups in Targets (or, with no Location Groups, for the organization).
Best practices
Use a Location Group, such as your park, as the target, so new rides are included automatically.
Send to User Groups rather than individual Users, so the list stays current.
Name rules by type, period, scope and audience, for example Operations — Daily — Main park — Leadership.
Test a new rule with yourself as the only recipient before adding the wider audience.
Frequently asked questions
How can I get a report of downtime for the park?
The Operations Report includes each Location's downtime and the park's Total Downtime, plus the Downtimes started in the period. It's an add-on your CSM enables. On dashboards, downtime widgets show it too — see Downtime on Dashboards.
Can I generate the report on demand?
No. The Operations Report is only emailed on its rule's schedule, shortly after midnight on the weekdays you pick. There's no button to run or download it in the Backend.
How do I enable the Operations Report?
Ask your Customer Success Manager, or email [email protected], to enable Operations Report (aka 360-Park Report). The option then appears in the Notification Rules + menu.
How is rides per guest calculated?
Ride per Capita is the guests carried at the report's Locations divided by the latest currentAttendance sent through the attendance API. Without attendance data it shows -.
I'm not getting the report in my email. Why?
Check you're a recipient, directly or through a User Group, the rule isn't disabled and your email address is correct. Reports are sent shortly after midnight on the rule's weekdays only.
