Overview
Use Based on date and time to show a Checklist page or element on selected weekdays. For example, include a weekly cleaning task on Mondays without creating a separate Checklist. This condition checks the weekday, not a clock time or date range.
Despite its name, the condition has one option: Weekday. It can't check dates, times of day, weeks or seasons, and it doesn't decide when a Checklist is available — the Schedule does that. For logic in general, see Adding logic to a Checklist.

Add a weekday condition
1. Open the logic panel
Go to Checklists, select the Checklist and click Edit. Click the page header or the element you want to show or hide, and expand Logic.
2. Add the condition
Click Add Logic and choose Based on date and time. Under Datetime, Weekday is selected; it's the only option.
3. Choose the operator and day
Choose equal to or not equal to, then pick one day, from Monday to Sunday. Each condition holds one day. Both fields are required: a condition that isn't fully set up stops you from saving the Checklist.
4. Save
Click Accept Changes, then Save the Checklist.
Use several days
To cover more than one day, add one weekday condition per day and set how they combine at the top of the logic panel: Show this element if All or One or more conditions are met.

⚠️ Heads-up: Several equal to conditions combined with All are never met, because a day can't be Tuesday and Thursday at once. The page or element then never appears. Use One instead.
The All or One setting applies to every condition on that page or element. To combine "Tuesday or Thursday" with a condition that must always hold, such as a Location Property, put the weekday conditions on the page and the other condition on the element: when the page is hidden, everything on it is hidden too.
When the day is checked
Device clock — the day comes from the date and time zone of the phone, tablet or RideOps device. No connection is needed, so weekday logic also works offline.
When the Checklist opens — the day is read when the Checklist is opened and doesn't change while it stays open. A night shift that opens the Checklist on Monday evening keeps Monday's content after midnight.
Hidden content — questions hidden by weekday logic don't need an answer, so the Checklist can still be completed on the other days.
What weekday logic can't do
Weeks, dates and seasons — there's no condition for every other week, a week number, a date range or a time of year. Put those tasks in a separate Checklist and give it its own Schedule, for example pattern slots or specific slots.
Times of day — logic can't show a question only in the morning. Use separate Schedule slots instead.
Availability — when and how often a Checklist can be completed is set by its Schedule. See How to schedule a Checklist.
Examples
Weekly deep clean. A daily opening Checklist has a page, Weekly filter deep-clean, with the condition equal to Monday. The page appears only on Mondays, as part of the routine the team already runs.
Rotating inspection points. A ride has five seats and one is inspected each day. Give each seat's question its own condition, Seat 1 equal to Monday, Seat 2 equal to Tuesday and so on.
Weekdays only. A stock count that isn't done at weekends has two conditions, not equal to Saturday and not equal to Sunday, combined with All.
Best practices
Put day-specific tasks on their own page and use page logic, rather than repeating the condition on each element.
Check All versus One whenever a page or element has more than one weekday condition.
Make sure devices use the correct date and local time zone, especially shared tablets.
Keep frequency in the Schedule: use logic for "which day", and Schedules for "how often".
Frequently asked questions
Can a question change every week, every two weeks, or only show at certain times of year?
No. Date-and-time logic only offers Weekday. Put rotating or seasonal tasks in a separate Checklist and schedule it for the weeks or dates you need, for example with pattern slots or specific slots.
Can I choose several days in one condition?
No. Each condition holds one day. Add one equal to condition per day and choose One or more conditions are met, so the content shows on any of those days.
Can I hide a question on Fridays and Saturdays?
Yes. Add two conditions, not equal to Friday and not equal to Saturday, and choose All conditions are met. The question then shows on every other day.
Does this logic decide which day the checklist is available?
No. Logic only shows or hides content inside the Checklist. The days and times a Checklist can be completed come from its Schedule. See How to schedule a Checklist.
